Lower Ground floor: The master bedroom boasts a king-size double bed with ensuite shower room, and patio doors which open on to a large decking area overlooking Carlingford Lough, and The Mourne Mountains beyond.
The other bedroom has a large oak king-size bed and a generous single bed again with patio doors opening onto the deck area. There is also a large bathroom with bath and separate shower.
In the expansive hall area there is a sofa bed with easy access to the main bathroom, and a sliding patio door onto the decking area.
First Floor: The living quarters are actually upstairs to make the most of the commanding views. With open Plan lounge/kitchen/diner and balcony accessed through sliding patio doors and Utility room

Situated just off a quiest country lane, the property has an extensive private landscaped garden which is partially enclosed. With large grass lawn the property has lots of space for kids to enjoy. The timber decked area, with picnic bench, and unique stone built BBQ and chimenea are perfect for summer entertaining. A large gravel drive offers ample private off road parking. The property offers stunning views over Carlingford Lough and the Mourne Mountains, and The Cooley Mountains.
You can take a leisurely stroll to the village of Omeath for essential supplies or a refreshing drink in the local pubs. If you are feeling a little more energetic you can follow one of the many designated walking routes right on your doorstep. The new 6.2km greenway cycle path from Omeath to Carlingford follows the route of the old railway line between Carlingford Marina and Griers Quay Omeath providing cyclists and walkers with a safe track offering spectacular views along the scenic coast of Carlingford Lough.

Myself, my husband, 8 yr. old daughter, my sister, and 9 yr. old niece stayed at the Carlingford Cottage for over a glorious week!!! The views are breathtaking, it's quiet and private and just lovely. Every amenity you may possibly need is at your disposal. The next time we visit Ireland we will definitely be renting this home again if it's available.
