The Old Bakery is part of historic Paskeston Hall and is a luxury 2 or 3 bedroom apartment that is centrally located and close to all of the amenities in beautiful Pembrokeshire. The dwellings at Paskeston Hall date back to Medieval times and the bakery formed part of the House and provided bread for the workers on the site.
The two storey accommodation comprises of two large bedrooms with Superking sized beds with Egyptian Cotton Duvets and an optional third double bedroom in the Eaves of the old apple drying room connected by a short corridor to the rest of the apartment.
The downstairs of the property features a sitting room which overlooks the pleasant rear courtyard and contains a large free view TV and a dining room where you can still see the original bread ovens. The well appointed kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher and everything else you would need including the kitchen sink! There is a small sun patio in front of the property and a play area with swings used by the owners grandchildren in front of the main Hall that supervised children are welcome to use.
Paskeston Hall is situated close to the village of Cosheston and virtually all of the best beaches and attractions are situated within a 20 minute drive. The largest theme parks such as Oakwood and Heatherton are only 10 minutes away and beaches such as Barafundle Bay are only 15 minutes away. Tenby and Saundersfoot are only 15 minutes away and both the magnificent Pembroke Caste and exquisite Carew Castle are less than 10 minutes away.
The Old Bakery will suit discerning holiday makers who wish to enjoy the beautiful scenery and historical attractions of Pembrokeshire but without the bother of crowds at the end of a leisurely day. We have considerable flora and fauna for guests to enjoy and the local area is a birdwatchers paradise. We have resident nesting Buzzards in the ( somewhat overgrown) grounds and have Woodpeckers, Treecreepers and a variety of other interesting birds including a pair of wild Peacocks! The Old Bakery is only one mile equidistant from two good local country pubs offering good food and ten minutes drive from major supermarkets.
The owner managers are resident on site and are more than happy to offer advice on local amenities if requested.
You will be greeted with a welcome pack and if you require it, local information including the history of the Hall.
Guests staying in the Old Bakery are welcome to use the library in the main Hall by arrangement which houses several thousands of books.
We are dog lovers and you will find our four friendly dogs wandering the grounds freely and you are welcome to bring your own well behaved dogs for a small supplemental charge.
Up to 4 Adult guests are invited to a complimentary Victorian Tea in our tea rooms which has consistently been rated as No 1 on Tripadvisor out of more than 450 Pembrokeshire establishments and has been awarded a 2014 Certificate of Excellence. Unfortunately the tea rooms cannot accommodate children under 14 (including the owners 7 grandchildren!) but the complimentary tea can be served in the Old Bakery. See Tripadvisor for details.
At the Old Bakery you will be staying in a unique setting far enough away from the maddening crowds that you will be able to relax, unwind and adopt a completely different way of life which is everything a holiday should be. The owners were holidaymakers to Pembrokeshire themselves many years ago and fell in love with the area and stayed!
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate Stag or Hen parties.

The Pembrokeshire region
The Pembrokeshire coast was voted by National Geographic magazine as the 2nd most beautiful coastline in the world!
The county has many blue flag beaches, superb historical sites such as Pembroke Castle where the Tudor Dynasty was founded and many theme parks for children such as the award winning Oakwood.
The Old Bakery is "off the beaten track" for a peaceful holiday but yet only a short drive from all of the finest beaches and facilities that Pembrokeshire has to offer.
The area is one of outstanding natural beauty and has several small market towns. Narbeth is a very interesting town about 15 minutes away that has been unspoiled by the major supermarket chains and contains eclectic and interesting shops and restaurants. There are two pub/restaurants within walking distance of the property and major supermarkets a three mile drive away. In the immediate area are several interesting walks including Carew Mill Pond, Castle and the Cleddau Estuary.
There is excellent fishing, diving, bird watching and other outdoor activities in the area.
