This is a mid terraced cottage located in the historic market town of Cardigan.

Newly refurbished throughout, Lane Cottage is ideally placed in the historic market town of Cardigan. This three storey holiday property is just a stone's throw from the main shopping street - a perfect location for those wishing to combine the convenience of staying in a thriving market town and having easy access to award-winning beaches, stunning wildlife and the breath-taking scenery of the Teifi Valley and Cardigan Bay.

The cottage is immaculately presented with a newly fitted kitchen and bathroom, a cosy sitting room with feature fireplace and comfy sofas – a perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. The compact and bijou courtyard is comfortably furnished and a bbq offers guests the choice of dining alfresco.

Step outside the door and you have Cardigan's many amenities at your feet, choose from an array of shops, visit the indoor market located within the newly renovated Guildhall or wine and dine at the many cafés, restaurants and pubs. Just around the corner is 'Pendre Art' – a stylish and well presented gallery exhibiting the work of over 100 local artists, as well as a café. 'Theatr Mwldan' – an Arts Theatre and Cinema is a two minute walk away. A two minute walk in the other direction takes you to Cardigan's swimming pool – both are ideal venues for those rainy days!

Throughout the year, there are a host of exciting fun-filled festivals and events taking place in Cardigan that will appeal to everyone, from Cardigan County Agricultural Show in July, the River and Food Festival in August to Christmas Craft and Food Fair in December.

A boat trip from the town's river side pontoon to the mouth of the Teifi estuary and Cardigan island is a must. This special conservation area is teeming with wildlife; bottlenose dolphins, atlantic grey seals, harbour porpoises, seabirds, rare choughs and skylarks can all be seen! The same delights can also be enjoyed at the Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park in Gwbert, just over 3 miles away. High above the shores of Cardigan Bay and the Teifi Estuary, is a special place to play golf. If you can take your eyes off the surrounding vistas, including the sea views, the Preseli Hills and the Lleyn Peninsula in the far distance, you will enjoy a memorable and testing round of golf. The Cliff Hotel and Spa and the Gwbert Hotel's Flat Rock Bistro are both lovely venues to enjoy lunch or an evening meal and both overlook the sparkling waters of the estuary to Poppit Sands - a very large expanse of sand which marks the northern border between the counties of Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion and the northern end of the 186 miles of Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The proximity of this beach to the town of Cardigan makes it very popular with visitors - a beach cafe by the large car park or The Webley Waterfront Hotel a short walk away, ensures a good day out. The picturesque beaches of Mwnt, Aberporth, Tresaith, Penbryn, Llangrannog and Newquay are all a short drive from Cardigan.

The stunning Welsh Wildlife Centre stands within the Teifi Marches Nature Reserve on the banks of the River Teifi and can be reached by foot from Cardigan. Spend an afternoon exploring the flora and fauna, admire the grazing water buffalo or venture up the river in a canoe.

Cardigan's location, on the border between two counties, makes it a superb base from which to venture into both Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. Miles of unspoilt coastline, pretty towns, villages, coastal pathways, castles and other places of interest are all waiting to be explored.
