The house is a spacious castle-like property built in 1880 and extended extensively over the years to include the characteristic turrets built by the previous owners. The property has been fully updated and decorated tastefully by the present owners in a modern style with throwbacks to the Victorian era including working original fireplaces.
The perfect base for a wedding celebration or just a family fun holiday, the house benefits from 2 acres of gardens with newly laid tennis courts, a heated swimming pool and even its own fully stocked pub. The sights, sounds and smells of beautifully untouched countryside are all around. For the active vacationer, there are miles of forestry walks, and a golf course just 10 minutes walk away. Local restaurants and pubs are 5 mins by car or taxi.
