Villa Mimosa, is 5 minutes drive to the Castle-Cite, where there are 100' of bars, cafe's and shops. there is a bus that runs from the lake to the Castle ( the lake is 5 mins walk away)
Although the Villa is set in a quiet location, with its own pool and south facing walled garden, you can walk to the lake with its own beach, there is volley ball, crazy golf, pedalo's, beach bars (selling snacks and drinks) there is new to 2012 Total Wipeout activity on the lake, plus the 02 activity, please following the link for more details.http://www.o2aventure.com/photos-et-videos-du-parc

Please note that changeover days are on Saturday, please vacate by 9am and after 3pm for access.
The Languedoc-Roussillon / Aude region
This villa situated just five minutes away from Carcassonne, surrounded by vineyards, 5 minutes from the famous walled castle (Cite) which is a World Heritage Site. The town of Carcassonne itself, where you will find numerous bars, cafes, shops, theatre and a local market which is held twice a week. There are lots of lovely villages to discover like the mediaeval market town of Mirripox, Minnervois and Corberes. If you want to explore further afield then Andorra is just a 2 hour drive from the villa, where you can stock up on all your duty free purchases and also designer goods. Barcelona is just 2 hours drive and Gerona 1 hours drive.
The Carcassonne / Lac du la Caverye area
The Villa is situated in a lovely location, a two minute walk from a beautiful lake with its own beach where there are boats, crazy golf and volley ball courts, there are numerous walks around the lake and surrounding Countryside. It is 40mins drive from the Med and only 5 mins from the Golf course. There is a public bus which runs from the lake to the Castle and Town and there are supermarkets a short drive away where you will find all your everyday needs. A car is advisable in order to visit all the lovely villages around.
