"We had a wonderful time in France. Your apartment is lovely, attractive and comfortable. The whole area in and around Carcassonne is lovely as well, and the weather was really kind. I’m sure that we will be back to see the many areas which we missed. Thank you for your help in making things so easy for us after our arrival at the airport. Airport to your door in about 10 minutes, it couldn’t have been easier. " Martyn, Lincolnshire, UK.
"We just wanted to let you know what a fantastic time we had whilst we were there. We had a great time wandering around Carcassonne and it proved to be a great base for exploring and we did a few day trips. The flat was great, and it was wonderful to have somewhere with a back garden. It was a great holiday for us, and we have very happy memories of Carcassonne. It was lovely to come "home" to a flat, rather than a hotel room." Libby and Ian, New South Wales, Australia.
"We had a great time in Carcassone the apartment was lovely. It is in a perfect location and the great thing is it was spotless which is something that I love to see. The weather was good while we were over and if any friends intend to travel i will put them in touch with you." Frances, Co.Kerry, Ireland.
"We had a fantastic time, the apartment was perfect and we have left feedback in the book but I wanted to let you know how great it was. We will recommend it to friends and family and we will be back. We are even thinking of a boating holiday on the Canal du Midi!" Tracey, Birmingham, UK.
"The holiday was great, thanks! And so was the apartment. I really appreciate the effort you went to make it a nice place to stay. It was lovely being able to have meals out on the terrace, or just to sit out there and read. And the inside was very comfortable and clean. The apartment was also amazing quiet given how well-situated it is. I especially want to say thanks for the visitors' pack. It was a great introduction to the area and amenities, and it was very useful to read where the other visitors enjoyed visiting." Richard, Derbyshire, UK.
"This apartment worked out really well for us with a two year old child, we had all the facilities we needed and it was very spacious and just great to have an outside area to eat and relax in. The location of the apartment is also really good, a few minutes walk to Place Carnot with all it's cafes and the supermarket and the market. Also the carpark nearby was very handy for our hire car and very cheap. The owner of the apartment was a pleasure to deal with and having a local contact in Carcassonne was great." Catherine, Dublin, Ireland.
"...thank you both for helping us enjoy our trip. The apartment was a welcome refuge with every facility we could need. Location is excellent for reaching every part of the bastide and walkig down/up to the citadel. Claire made us very welcome and dealt easily with our queries. We managed to see a lot in the area, with Carcassonne Citadel and the Canal the highlights, and particularly enjoyed Castelnaudary and Beziers. We definitely want to visit the area again, and hope we may once again stay at your flat." Ranee and John, Buckinghamshire, UK.
"We had a lovely holiday in carcassonne and loved the town and your apartment. It was so convenient for trains and buses and the square for meals out and the market. The apartment was lovely and clean and the courtyard was lovely for a drink. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and your friend Claire very welcoming."Ann and Seamus, Cork, Ireland.
"We had a fantastic week exploring Carcassonne and Toulouse, cycling along the canal, enjoying the fabulous markets, food and wines of the area and generally enjoying every minute of it. We just wish we had stayed longer! The apartment was lovely. A hidden gem in the heart of the town, perfect to come back to after a day of exploring. Thanks again, we will definitely be recommending you to our friends and hope to revisit ourselves in the future." Alison and Steve, Yorkshire, UK.

A very comfortable and quiet apartment with a useful sitting out area. The pack of provisions provided on our arrival was most welcome as we arrived in the late evening. There is a small supermarket nearby which is open every day from which a good selection of supplies can be obtained. We came by train and found a car to be unnecessary. |

My stay in 'The Heart of Carcassonne' apt. was very enjoyable. Loved the apt – location, character and so full of light. It was so homely, secure and peaceful at night. I had plenty of hot water 'on tap' everyday and all I needed in the apt eg shopping bag, books, dvds and store cupboard ingredients! The back courtyard offers a nice area to do some very relaxing lounging around and had sun shining from lunchtime so was perfect for a few hours sunbathing.! I must also mention the lovely gesture of the welcome food and drink that was waiting for me -wine/oj/bread & cheese,it was a lovey touch. Just a few mins walk to supermarket, the square for coffee or food and the old town is a nice 10 min walk. |
