House | 1 bedrooms | sleeps 4
The main feature is relaxation but we are surrounded by vineyards, historic sites, mountains, lakes, walks and the Canal du Midi - there's even a Villedubert lock.
Many of our guests leave after a week saying they haven't done half the things they wanted to - as a result we have quite a few repeat visitors.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, a romantic bedroom with plenty of closet & storage space, a salon with a wall of windows looking onto the sun terrace & our garden, also a light & airy bathroom with a huge shower & a view of the Pyrenées.

The Languedoc-Roussillon region
A very varied area geographically from beaches through rolling countryside to hills, valleys, lakes & mountains. This is Cathare country with lots of hilltop forts and ancient walled cities steeped in history.
The Languedoc is the largest wine-producing region in France, say no more.
The lovingly restored medieval walled city of Carcassonne is a World Heritage Site and the local must-see.
There is a market almost every day of the week in one town or another all around, most open air, some indoors.
The area is full of festivals in the summer, all vying with each other to put on the best show.
