About the home
The charming open plan ground floor offers all comforts. It comprises a fully equipped kitchenette with oven, hob, microwave and washing machine as well as dining and sitting areas. There is a DVD player and hifi as well as a library of DVDs, Cd's and books. A selection of family games.is also provided. The wood burning fire allows for cosy comfort in the winter months.
Free Wi-Fi internet is available in our B&B next door and guests are encouraged to make use of our peaceful garden. We offer guests the possibility to take their evening meal or breakfast with us - although we do need to know one day in advance.
Only half an hours drive from Carcassonne, and just 15mins from Limoux, Chez Dyna offers a peaceful respite in our quiet village set among the vinyards which boasts within walking distance, its own baker and shop as well as café-bar serving food all year round. Fine dining is available just 5km. away at Domain Gayda - one of the finest restaurants around.

the original beams offer a rustic charm to the elegant airy bedroom on the first floor. It not only has a double bed but also a day bed which is able to sleep a child. A cot is available.

The gite at Chez Dyna has its own small dining / sitting area just outside whilst guests are encouraged to use the garden of the main house next door for dining or simply relaxing.
there are facilities for playing boules outside and there are Tennis courts in Belveze just 3km. away.
Belveze also boasts an open air pool in summertime whilst Limoux (just 15mins. away) has an open and closed pool.

Although the cottage is normally rented for one or more weeks, we can be flexible and offer shorter periods if required. We can also offer the choice to breakfast at our B&B or dine in the evenings.
We are also flexible about your day of arrival & departure.
The Languedoc-Roussillon / Aude region
In summertime, an outdoor swimming pool is open in the adjacent village of Belveze, 3km. away; whilst the town of Limoux (12km. away) famous for its Blanquette, boasts both indoor and outdoor swimming as well as many other sports & leisure including kyak/canoe river rides, tennis and horse riding. In winter, Skiing is possible just one hour away and the beach also one hour away at Narbonne.
Wine tasting and tuition and even a masterclass or quiz can be organised as can local history lectures and preparatory Holy Grail videos..
The Carcassonne area
The village of Alaigne is in the form of an ancient “circulade” and nestles in the vineyards called Malepère.
The village boasts a bakery and small shop, post office, primary school and friendly café-bar and is only 3km. from a larger village with supermarket, bank, doctor, dentist and pizza bar.
Just 15 mins; away can be found the famous restaurant of Gayda whilst in the other direction, the small city of Limoux boasts a large selection of shopping, bars & restaurants and is home to the famous Blanquette de Limoux – the forerunner of Champagne !
