About the home

Maison Rive Gauche has an open plan ground floor which makes it perfect for guests to relax together. There is a small, but perfectly adequate kitchen, large dining area and a comfortable lounge. French Doors at both ends of the property make it a light and bright area. The back french doors lead onto a small terrace and the front doors lead onto the garden with barbeque area, perfect for alfresco dining.

Upstairs there are 3 well furnished bedrooms, one double room, one twin and one single room. There is a family bathroom and separate WC. All of the bedrooms have roll down shutters which keep out the hot midday sun.

The complex has a large pool, exclusively for guests, which is only a short walk from the house, this is only open during summer months.

Carcassonne centre is just a short 5 minute walk, with a wide selection of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops for you to choose from. The old medieval part of Carcassonne is just a 20 minute walk and is well worth a visit. There are lots of nearby sports including, kayaking, tennis, cycling, golf and horse riding.

“Great Location” Great location with all you need for a self-catering holiday. Lacked a decent shower though. Pool area very nice. Only a 15 minute walk from the walled city of Carcassonne. Response: Thank you for your comments we have noted you were unhappy with the existing shower and so will be replacing it before the next summer season.
