This five bedroom, two bath house has two terraces, a fireplace, views of the village's 13th Century chateau, lake & majestic mountain vineyards, as well as distant views stretching for 50 kilometres. It's only a few steps to gourmet restaurant and minutes to the Mediterranean, Languedoc vineyards, European Continental airport, Pyrenees skiing, and Perpignan shopping mecca. Vacation in this vast, undiscovered area of this area of France.

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Pyrenees-Orientales region
The Languedoc-Roussillon region is situated in the south of France, and the landscape is dominated by vineyards which stretch on for acres, the striking Cathar castles situated in the mountains, and the beautiful Mediterranean coast. The area has a great climate, and you can relax on the beach or visit nearby wildlife reserves such as the Camargue.
Caramany area
Caramany is located on a lake ideal for water sports. There are rock falls located nearby and lots of swimming holes. The area is a popular hiking area as well. Like all of the Languedoc-Roussillon area there is interesting wildlife, spectacular scenery and plenty of opportunities for activity.
How to get there
2 hours North of Barcelona. You can drive, take the train or fly. Local airport is Perpignan and is 30 minutes from the house. From London there are very inexpensive flights on Ryan Air out of Stanstead to Perpignan. Sometimes you just have to pay taxes and the flight is free. Crazy! From Paris there are flights for @ 100 Euros to Perpignan from Orly or there is a fast train or drive.
