The Campania region

The Campania region hosts some of Italy’s most exuberant and colourful festivals, a great chance to enjoy local traditions and wonderful local cooking. The area used to be reputed to be the most civilised province of Italy, and the resorts of the Amalfi Coast – Capri and Sorrento still draw visitors from Italy and abroad. This region is reputed to be the home of the most beautiful piece of coastline in the Mediterranean. Naples is a thriving, bustling centre, a city which captures a certain element of Italy. Living under the shadow of Vesuvius, its people are renowned for their irrepressible and boisterous spirit. There are fine buildings to be found, with the Castel dell’Ovo and the gothic Duomo are just a taste of the rich history which Neapolitan architecture offers. Pizza was created in Naples, and the pizzas still made here are second to none....

From May to September there is a climate favorable Mediterranean. Each month, the island is rich in musical and cultural events and above all not to miss the festival that takes place every year Anacapri at the end of August 1st WEEK of September.

The Villa is full of personal items lying everywhere like used soaps, razors etc. and not maintained at all.
We stayed for 2nights and the 2ND evening the electric power of the villa went off. We contacted the owner Mr. Alessandro who sympathised but could not help as was staying in Naples. He assured someone would come to help but no one turned up.
The entire group could not sleep the whole night, could not take bath in morning as the water heater will not work without power.
Mr. Alessandro promised on sms that he would meet us in the evening in Naples and refund 1 nights fees as compensation. After reaching Naples we tried to call him but he had conveniently switched off his phone. We tried the next morning before leaving Naples but the phone was still switched off.
He answered msg and calls till such time he was sure that we left the villa so he was worried that we would not damage anything.
Others are welcomed to book this villa if they are ready for such and may be more horrible experiences.

the fact that the villa is left without light for one night, was caused by the tenants themselves, who have turned on all the lights of the property, internal and external, heaters, heat pumps ... (which remained in use throughout the day from morning to evening), and various household appliances, in doing so have caused a short circuit in the electric meter and causing me harm of great importance!
though I had already warned the day before do not run too many appliances at the same time (lavastovilia, microwave, hair dryer, heater, and above all do not let the heat pump run for 24h)
all this I am aware, only when the electrical technician he repaired the counter (changing the piece DAMAGED)
