Even before we arrived at Dalar Deg,the owners where very helpful, they made us feel welcome. When we did arrive we were blown away the cottage is as beautiful as we expected x10. I would recommend Dalar Deg to all my friends and family. Its great for kids, watching the sunset behind the mountains from the garden is an experience you will never forget. The views, the local people, and (of course) the chocolate house, are all wonderful. If your thinking of booking Dalar Deg you wont be disappointed. We cant wait to go back.

The cottage was lovely, made extra special by those extra little touches to make it a home from home it was really well equipped, a very big thank you for the extra day given to us by the owners! (and the wine!) When I contacted the owner, he was very welcoming and helpful and I knew if there was a problem he'd be available to help! As it was February and the cottage was a bit cold it took a while to warm up but the fire in the evening was lovely and made the living room really warm. The beds were really comfortable and there were extra blankets etc. The cottage was reasonably close to larger towns and to the lovely village of Betws-y-coed which was really nice. I would love to stay in the cottage again but maybe when the weather was a bit warmer. It is ideal if you are on a walking holiday as it is situated near to lots of walks etc.
we are pleased you have had a great holiday thank you for taking the time to do a review for Galar Deg

"Peace and tranquility"
An amazing cottage located in a quiet village setting boasting superb views. Why not wander down to the local for your dinner or take a stroll around the corner to the riverside chocolate house - the hot chocolate really is a must! Stunning walks and hikes are just on your doorstep or for the more adventurous you can take a short drive to climb a mountain! High ropes activity centre is not too far if you are feeling brave! The cottage is immaculately clean and all you could need is provided. In the morning drink your coffee looking out at rolling hills from your four poster bed. Dalar Deg has all you could want and more!

"Lovely cottage with homely touches"
We were offered this cottage last minute as our previous booking fell through 24 hours before! I am glad to say we were more than pleased. The cottage was lovely, clean, warm & set in a beautifully quiet location, which was just what we wanted. The owner called us that evening to see we had settled in & made us feel very welcome. Tea, coffee & milk awaited our arrival & even a bottle of wine (which went down very well).

Dalar Deg is a beautiful cottage it has everything you need and more besides, like a roll top jaccuzi bath! The surrounding area is very quiet, on our many visits we have enjoyed walks in to the small village where the locals are friendly and the pub offers very nice food. I would recommend anyone to stop at the old school house for their homemade scones or picnic near the stream.

"Will definitely return!"
Had an excellent time here, the cottage was very clean inside and out, the property is evidently very well maintained and looked after, as well as being well equipped. The décor was simply amazing, and the local area astounding, we have various special requirements but the owners were more than helpful in seeing that our requirements were met and that our stay was as relaxing as possible.

"Picture perfect, clean lovely cottage."
we love this house, it's a beautiful cottage clean and tidy with open fires etc, creating that perfect holiday getaway. We are a family of 5 and it catered for us with ease. It really is lovely and it is fully loaded with everything you need right down to the tea bags coffee and milk. Reg the owner is a top bloke, very friendly and is very keen to make sure you get the relaxing break your after. Could not have asked for more. The location is great, the only reason I marked it down a little is because I love Snowdon, llanberis and Anglesey and they are all 20 miles pls away so just for us it took a little time out of the day in travel. But it's a very minor detail and without a second thought I'd stay there again and recommend to anyone I know. Thanks again Reg, keep up the top work.
