The Western Cape region

The region is made up of varios national parks, nature reserves, coastline and mountains. Spring starts in September and summer runs all the way up until mid April. We have winter rain fall. Summers are hot and sunny with refreshing south easterly winds.


Cape Town / Kommetjie area

Cape Point Nature Reserve, Table Mountain, Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Winelands, Boulders Beach. Kommetjie has great surf spots, fantastic beaches and beautiful hiking trails..

SAA/BA direct flight to Cape Town. Hire a car from Thrifty Dollar car rental. Head down the N2 to Cape Town take the Southern Suburbs off ramp to the left onto the M3. Follow the motor way for about 20-25km, at the T Junction take a left and follw the M64, Ou Kaapse Weg over Silvermine into the Fish Hoek valley. Take the Kommetjie/Scarborough turn off to the left and follow the Kommetjie Rd for another 10km. At Fishermans Restaurant take right into Somerset Rd and immediately right again into Huskisson Rd. Huskisson Rd bends to the left and becomes van der Horst Avenue, look for number 18 on the left with a large palm tree out front.
