Brodie Cottage is set in a secure complex with 24 hour manned security barrier.
The cottage is bright, tastefully furnished and equipped throughout. Downstairs, there is a double bedroom with french windows which open out onto the garden. It has en suite facilities (shower, bath, wc etc.). There is a comfortable and spacious lounge with a log fire, a dining room, family room with satellite television and a fully fitted kitchen including a dishwasher.
Upstairs there is large sunny bedroom which has twin beds and a double bed and a separate large bathroom (shower, bath,wc. etc.).
Outside attached to the garage is the utility room with washing machine and tumble drier.

The Western Cape region
Brodie Cottage is perfectly located for anyone who wants a base from which to explore and experience all the marvellous attractions of the Western Cape. Only thirty minutes from the centre of Cape Town yet it is less than half an hour from Cape Point where the two oceans meet.
There are lots of wonderful sandy beaches to explore but should you wish to visit the Winelands around Somerset West or Stellenbosch, these are also just on your doorstep. For fine dining, Franschoek has lots to offer but many of the vinyards are definitely worth a visit and not just to taste the wine. The views are quite spectacular!
Whether you choose to come in the spring when the wild flowers are at there best and whales can been seen all along the coast, or in summer or autumn you will not be disappointed with what the Western Cape has to offer.
Cape Town / Noordhoek area
Noordhoek itself has an abundance of things to do. Horse Riding, tennis, walking, golf, bird watching and surfing are all available within a very short distance of Brodie Cottage. The farm village is very popular for its small shops, farm stall, restaurants and a fine pub. Table Mountain is a must, the penguin colony at Boulders Beach, and we would also highly recommend Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, and slightly further afield, the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens at Bettys Bay.

How to get there
There are direct flights from most European countries to Cape Town. The airport is about 40 minutes from Brodie Cottage.
We can arrange car hire at discounted rates but if you prefer to be picked up from the airport and have the car delivered to the cottage this we can do also.
