The Cape Town / Llandudno SA area

Llandudno is on the Atlantic Coastline approximately 15 kilometres from Cape Town Central and The V & A Waterfront. Llandudno is a very sought after area with turquoise sea and white soft sandy beaches. Giant granite rocks jute out into the sea and Judas Peak towers over Llandudno with Little Lionshead on one side almost enclosing this beautiful destination.

Dolphins and whales are regularly sighted in the bay. Nearby Sandy Bay is a 20 minute walk and is a nudist beach very popular with locals and tourists with spectacular scenery on route. Hout Bay is the closest village with shops, restaurants and many tourist attractions such as Hout Bay Harbour, The World of Birds and not forgetting the world famous Chapman's Peak Drive with magnificent views stretching as far as Kommetjie and Noordhoek.

This apartment/penthouse is ideally located for exploring Cape Town and the surrounding areas. It is located high above Llandudno beach with fine views both out to sea and inland. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and modern with a maid available to clean if required. We used the extra bedroom (with bathroom) which was ideal for our teenage son who appreciated the ability to have some time to himself. It should be noted that this is entirely separate from the main accommodation, and accessed by its own gate. The owner was on hand most of the time which was re-assuring to know - and she was really helpful when needed. The free use of internet was great as this becomes a necessity now on holidays to book trips/check availability etc. Llandudno itself was close to Hout Bay (visit World of Birds if you can) but also only 20 minutes from Cape Town where good eating places are plentiful. Table Mountain is a must, as is Cape Point, and Robben Island too was worth the visit. Kirstenbosch Gardens was also an enjoyable trip. Use of a car is a must with this property. The prices were excellent and I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the Western Cape - it is quiet, ideally located and superb value for money
