Paradiso is a newly-built modern house located on the mountain-side, accessed down stairs from the magnificent Boyes Drive or up a narrow winding path from the road next to the beach. Danger beach is at the bottom of the road on which the house is situated with the St James and Dalebrook tidal pools in close walking distance.
The house has a breathtaking panoramic view of False Bay: at night watch the lighthouses flicker on each side of the bay and during whale season sit on the large porch to see the whales or fishing boats from Kalk Bay harbour. Paradiso has a large open-plan living area with large glass windows and a small private shade garden. If you enjoy walking to enjoy a sensational view, this easy holiday home will suit you.
The house is a fifteen minute walk from Kalk Bay's small fishing harbour, quaint shops and a range of restaurants. Alternatively, walk from the house onto the mountain behind it. Rent the tennis court next to the beach, with bookings at a nearby guest house.
The house is simply furnished with an open plan living area and two double bedrooms with an open bedroom suitable for children to sleep in on mattresses. It is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Western Cape region
The Cape Peninsula boasts magnificent views with mountains plunging into the sea. It has a temperate Mediterranean climate and is a winter rainfall area. Its hottest conditions are experienced in February.
There is so much to do and enjoy in the area: visit Cape Point, Robben Island, Simonstown, Boulders Beach, Kommetjie, Table Mountain, the aquarium, take the water taxi to Simonstown, see the penguins at Boulders Beach or drive to Stellenbosch wine farms.
Cape Town / Kalk Bay/St James area
Close to Cape Point and Simonstown on the Cape Peninsula. Easy access to beaches and mountain. Enjoy local restaurants in small fishing town of Kalk Bay. Quaint shops and golf courses nearby. Take the water taxi from Kalk Bay harbour to St James. Take the train into Cape Town.
How to get there
Fly directly to Cape Town or take the train from Johannesburg to Cape Town and see South Africa. Once in Cape Town, take a taxi or shuttle to St James from the airport or train station. Alternatively hire a car from one of the car hire companies.
St James is in the South Peninsula approximately 20 km from the City Centre. The local train runs from the City Centre to Simonstown, stopping at St James station.

A THREE MONTH RENTAL AVAILABLE will be available from 20 August 2009 - 1 December 2009 at reduced rate.
Please note: there is no direct road access. Walk down stairs to house or up winding path from beach. Minimum rental is four nights.
Conditions
Strictly no smoking except on the balcony. Refundable breakages deposit of £250 required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). 25% of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking. There is no direct road access to the house.
