Melkbosstrand has easy access to all amenities, including Robben Island, Table Mountain, wine routes, etc with many excellent restaurants for eating out.
Leading from the living room is a spacious deck with stunning sea views, ideal for whale watching during August and September. Three bedrooms, two double and one twin bedroom, the house is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. Beautiful interior with original paintings. The Western Cape region
Melkbosstrand is situated on the West Coast of South Africa, with a dry climate in summer and rain in winter with an average temperature of 25 - 30 degrees in summer and 15 - 25 in winter.
The West Coast National Park is appr 20 km from Melkbosstrand. Numerous famous wine routes are to choose from, Robben Island, Table Mountain, to mention a few of the sites nearby. Wind Surfing at BloubergStrand or Paragliding in the Ceres Mountains are all focal points of the area.

Melkbosstrand is a small town, calm and secure, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, but near enough to enjoy all activities to the full. Homely and friendly people will welcome you on an unforgettable holiday.
Fishing is great on the beach. The best seafood restaurant (Orca) is situated in Melkbosstrand. Atlantic Golf Estate is next to Melkbosstrand.
How to get there
Fly British Airways to Cape Town.
Hire a car from Budget Car (www.budgetcar.co.za) and drive a scenic route to Melkbosstrand. Stop on your way and watch the wind surfers at Blouberg Strand or the whales in season!

Well-behaved dog is allowed but sorry, no cats. Strictly no smoking except on the balcony. Refundable breakages deposit of £50 required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). 25% of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking.
