The Western Cape region
The Constantia valley is particularly tranquil with gentle breezes that cool the valley.
Winters are mild with temperatures between 7 and 20 degrees Celsius (45 to 70 Fahrenheit) during the months June to August Summers are pleasant between 15 and 27 degrees Celcius (60 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit) during the months of December to March. Winter is rainfall period but is moderate.
Cape Town / Constantia area
Kirstenbosch botanical gardens are minutes drive away, while nurmerous mountain hiking trails are walking distance away. Wine farms in the area include, Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia, Buitenverwagting, Steenberg and Uitsig.
