The fresh water Roggebaai Canal runs through the middle of the building, connecting the City with the Waterfront. Residents can nip off on the "Venetian" water taxi to the Waterfront or in 2010, to the World Cup Soccer Final at the breathtaking Greenpoint stadium!

The Western Cape region

Affixed to the tip of Africa, the Western Cape with Cape Town as its capital, is the gateway to the the rest of South - and the whole of Africa. The landscapes are diverse and breath taking. Within a day trip from Cape Town you could go whale watching, great white shark diving, tasting world class wines in the sun-drenched Cape Winelands, go on Safari to see the Big 5, visit the rugged West Coast with its many fishing villages or travel over the magnificent passes to reach the interior and the wide, windswept arid spaces of the Klein Karoo.

A 5 minute walk will take you into the city centre where you can taste wine, visit museums & craft markets or take a walk up Long Street bustling with shops, street entertainers and restaurants by day , trendy bars and nightclubs by night. Hike up Table Mountain ( or take the cable car!), paraglide off Lions Head, visit Robben Island, drink sundowners at Clifton, eat best calamari ( in the world? ) at the Chapman's Peak Hotel overlooking Houtbay, sunbathe at Camps Bay, dip your toes in the freezing waters at Cape Point where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet - there is something to charm everyone in Cape Town. Thanks again for the lovely accommodation, my parents were very delighted while staying at the apartment. The linen, utensils, bathroom, furniture etc were all very clean, comfortable and exceptionally well-equipped. The views on both spacious balconies are fantastic, they really enjoyed that space after a day out to the tourist destinations. They would definitely consider staying at this accommodation whenever visiting Cape Town again, same would they recommend it to their friends.
