The Western Cape is one of the most attractive parts of South Africa for international travellers. From historic winelands and beaches to Table Mountain the landscape and scenery of the Cape is spectacular.
This includes its own floral kingdom, the Fynbos, which is one of the world's smallest yet most diverse floral kingdoms and is home to the national flower, the protea. In particular what makes the Cape so attractive is its beautiful long warm summer days (making it a perfect escape from the European winter) and the tremendous diversity of activities that you can indulge in while on holiday.
The Cape Town / Central Cape Town area
Nestled under Table Mountain and with panoramic views of Devils Peak and Signal Hill the Cape Town City Bowl is at the heart of everything that the Western Cape has to offer. It is the historic and cultural centre of the region.
The City Bowl includes the Castle built by the Dutch in the mid 1600s, Parliament, numerous local museums, theatres, night-clubs and restrauants, the Company Gardens, the Cape Town International Convention Centre and is right next door to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. The Waterfront, which is a shopping district and attraction of note with its renovated buildings and aquarium, is also the launching spot for trips to Robben and Seal Islands. Robben Island in particular is worth visiting to see where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for many years.
Further suggestions for activities to partake in while in Cape Town include:
- Wine tasting in the historic Stellenbosch region;

- A visit to Cape Point and the penguins at Boulders beach;

The apartment is located 22km from Cape Town International Airport, we offer an airport shuttle service, please let us know if this is required. The most obvious airlines to use would be British Airways and South African Airways as these have the most frequest flights from the UK to SA and vice versa. The main car hire companies are located at the airport eg. Avis, Imperial and Budget however as the apartment in located in central Cape Town you may wish to spend a day or two sight seeing in the city and most attractions are in walking distance. We also offer half and full day tours which can be tailor made to suite your preferences. There are numerous shops and restaurants within meters of the very well located apartment, which are within walking distance, variety of choice is supreme!

From 30 to 60 days, forfeits 50% of deposit (i.e. 25% of total price)
and less than 30days, forfeits the full deposit.
