In the evening after a hard day on the beach or seeing the Cape’s sights, take a leisurely stroll to one of the numerous quality restaurants or bistro’s and enjoy an evening meal and drinks whilst listening to the crash of the ocean waves.Opposite the apartment is a tidal pool and secluded beach ideal for a refreshing swim with larger local beaches only a 5 minute drive away, or if you prefer, take the scenic train journey along the waters edge to amazing local surfing spots or beautiful gently sloping beaches. Simonstown is only a 10 minute drive away and as well as being noted for its safe beaches with resident Jackass Penguins, it has a huge amount of history with many museums to explore, boat trips from the harbour and shops to get that all important gift.

The Cape is also famed for its stunning vineyards. Kalk Bay is on the doorstep of the Cape wine lands and Constantia where you can visit the historical farms and enjoy wine tasting and stock up on your favourite vintage.The bustling city of Cape Town is only a 35 minute scenic drive from Stone’s Throw and it has various attractions to suit all visitors. There is the world famous Table Mountain which provides the backdrop to the city bowl - the adventurous can hike to the summit or for those who are not quite so energetic, the revolving cable car affords beautiful views of the city and beyond. Fly to Cape Town International Airport (Direct flights are available from British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, South African Airways and most major airlines).
Stone's Throw is approximately 35km from the airport and car hire is available at the airport from major companies including Avis, Budget and Imperial.

Stone’s Throw sleeps up to 8 people, offering a queen size bed in the main bedroom, twin beds in the second bedroom and 2 comfortable sleeper couches in the spacious lounge. The bedrooms have built in cupboards and the main bedroom is en suite with a pristine shower and toilet.
The apartment has a beautiful kitchen with granite tops and all the appliances a chef could need. Enjoy breakfast looking out over the ocean at the breakfast bar and supper on the balcony with the Indian Ocean as the perfect backdrop.
In the spacious lounge there is a flat screen television with satellite viewing, so you can enjoy those cosy evenings at home with a choice of movies, or catch that all important sporting event. A dining room table set on the original Oregon pine floor faces the folding doors which retract fully so the balcony and lounge become one area with the most perfect view from any angle.
If you fancy a long soak after a hard day on the beach or viewing the beautiful sights of the Cape, why not pour yourself a glass of chilled wine, open up the bathroom doors leading out on to the private balcony and enjoy the bubbling spa bath whilst looking out over the ocean.
