This wonderful home, which we call "Guineafowl Lodge" after the birds which frequent the bordering stream, is the perfect base to explore both the wonderful city of Cape Town and the Cape Peninsular, from the Waterside to Table Mountain to the Constantia vineyards to Cape Point. Situated in Tokai, half way between the city and Simon's Town, its central location allows for easy and quick access to all the many interesting and beautiful sights of this remarkable peninsular. From beaches to mountains to lakes to the world renowned Kirstenbosch Gardens, you will have an amazing choice of varied and memorable activities just a short car ride away.

The semi-detached town-house is set in a quiet, calm, secure, gated complex with beautiful gardens and two pools, one with a paddling pool for toddlers. An allocated and secure parking space within the complex and next to the house is provided.

Well designed and just refurbished, the house offers you a luxurious and relaxing home from home with open plan living and dining, a cosy gas fire for winter stays, a large patio and a private garden with access to a small stream where the bird life would do justice to a national park. Guinea- fowl, ibis, weaver birds, pretty doves and tropical sun birds all visit regularly.

Tastefully furnished and well equipped, lacking nothing in detail and comfort, Hillside will make your stay in Cape Town the perfect experience.

"Peaceful spot in a beautiful city"

I spent two weeks at this lovely house in December. The accommodation was very comfortable and well furnished. I particularly liked the light airy feel , with each room overlooking a small courtyard or garden. The spacious open plan kitchen made it very easy to cook in, and we also found the barbecue and rear garden extremely useful .

The house itself is situated in a secure complex with lovely well maintained gardens. We particularly enjoyed the pool at the end of a long hot day exploring the Cape . Although it is centrally situated between the city and False Bay, the house and garden offered us a secure haven of peace away from the crowds. What's more, its central position enabled us to reach the main sights within twenty minutes, be it the Waterfront, Kirstenbosch Gardens or beaches such as Nordhoek or Muizenburg.

I can highly recommend this holiday home .

Thank you so much. We are glad you enjoyed your stay in CapeTown.
