Cape Town / Fish Hoek area
Fish Hoek is a quaint beach village with one of the most beautiful beaches, with golden sandy beaches lapped by clear waters of the Indian Ocean. There is something for everyone in Fish Hoek, from shopping to fishing, swimming and sunbathing on the expansive beach.
Fish Hoek beach is one of the safest in the Cape for bathing and bodyboarding and when the wind picks up, hobie cats and windsurfers take to the waves. From July to October whales come into the Fish Hoek Bay and loll around just metres from the shore in preparation for mating and giving birth. Huge schools of dolphins are also sometimes seen. Beautiful scenery, sun and sand will make a visit to this lovely little costal town an absolutely unforgettable experience.
