Ocean View Heights is a sea view townhouse located just ten minutes walk from the beach, in Upper Sea Point. Quiet and peaceful, yet only five minutes drive (30 minutes' walk) from Camps Bay. The townhouse has easy access to all amenities, including Sea Point beach, and many excellent restaurants for eating out, local cinema etc. The property is situated in a Cul-de-sac providing a safe and very quiet environment.
Ocean View Heights has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which look out onto the pool. The master, en suite bedroom has great ocean views. There is a large open plan lounge/kitchen and dining area overlooking the communal pool through a double door leading straight onto the balcony.
The front of the townhouse has fantastic unobstructed ocean view which spans 180 degrees, whilst the back of the townhouse looks up at Signal Hill mountain. The area is very safe with remote controlled security gates surrounding the building. The surrounding area is wonderfully quiet in a great location which means you are a stone's throw away from the bustling Sea Point area, less than 5 minutes walk away.

The Western Cape region
Cape Town is a trendy cosmopolitan area which attracts millions of tourists each year. It is a wonderful place to experience.
Local Area: Sea Point Main Road is packed with restaurants, shops, houses and high rises. It generates a Mediterranean ambiance that is reflected in its variety of Cuisine. This cosmopolitan area is a culinary and nightlife delight. The Sea Point promenade is popular among walkers, especially those seeking a splendid sunset.
Beaches: The beaches of Sea Point, Camps Bay, Clifton and Llandudno dotted around the Atlantic Seaboard boast white, sandy beaches offering beautiful views and spectacular sunsets.These are generally the more 'trendy' beaches where many locals spend their weekends.
Weather: South Africa has been favoured by nature with one of the most temperate climates on the African continent, and plenty of sunny days. Summer graces the country between 1st September to end of April, whilst the Winter months start around the beginning of May until the end of August - where warm days show up again. Even the Winter days are not awful, seeing some daily temperatures reaching highs of 15 degrees.
Cape Town / Upper Sea Point area
Long Street in the city centre offers an eclectic mix of entertainment and gets very busy in the evenings after a day on the beach.
In trendy Kloof Street, Asoka Son of Dharma is a sophisicated lounge and bar with an upmarket yet comfortable feel. There are trendy bars all the way up Kloof Street, where you can bar hop from the bottom of Kloof Street all the way up to Kloof neck - where you can then make your way around the neck into Camps Bay. Around this side of the mountain you can continue the journey and view spectacular sunsets across the ocean with plenty of trendy places to sample the delicate foods on offer. A must if you are a sea food lover - enjoy a bottle of wine whilst taking in the sun going down, savouring the sea air and enjoying the generally wonderful atmosphere if this fantastic city.
Trendy bars along the Camps Bay strip offer cocktails and sundowners and is the place to be 'seen' - try Cafe Caprice or Sandbar for a sundowner drink, or Baraza for drinks accompanied by local DJ's. For a straight-off-the-beach drink and some good music stop in at La Med beach bar in Clifton.

The re-decoration was completed on 12th April, so everything is literally brand new - ready to provide you with a modern, homely holiday venue from which to enjoy Cape Town.

Ocean View Heights provides comfortable accommodation for up to Six persons. The split level property comprises of a combined well appointed kitchen (including dishwasher and washing machine), dining and living area with the bedrooms and the family bathroom on the first and upper floors.
The Upper floor is the large master bedroom and on suite bathroom. This room is equipped with a double bed, ample wardrobe space and a safety deposit box. The room uses the property's elevated position to provide panoramic views over Sea point and the ocean. The on-suite facility is well appointed and provided is a large powerful shower, toilet and washbasin. Bedroom 2 provides a double bed and again ample storage for clothing. Bedroom 3 provides a large double bunk. The family bathroom is equipped with a toilet, washbasin and a whirlpool type bath with a shower facility.
All the equipment and fittings in the house are modern and the decor is simple, in good condition and in keeping with the property. The property it self is on an upper level over looking Sea point and the ocean. It is set in a secure compound with similar houses and benefits from the use of a communal recreation area and swimming pool.
Directly out side Ocean View Heights there are steps that lead down to Main Road Sea point where restaurants, bars, banks and the all the necessities can be found within a few minuets walk. The return walk is guaranteed to keep you fit and help check the excess that you might have indulged in.
There is a very good selection of restaurants available in Sea point including Lebanese, Japanese, Indian, Italian, a good selection of local bars and restaurants as wells as the 'high street Chain' restaurants. Recommended is a visit to the local Italian Pasta and Pizza restaurant, Posticino, (3 Albany Mews 323 Main Road, Sea point 8001) where the food and service is excellent. Cape Town's Waterfront is a matter of a 25 minutes pleasant walk from Ocean View Heights and other Cape Town attractions are easily accessible by taxi or the local bus services.

This lovely apartment really was a home away from home, stylishly furnitured and with all the equipment needed to live comfortably. The view over the ocean is simply stunning. As for location, I cannot think of a better part of Cape Town to stay in - quiet, safe, yet very central with all the restaurants and shops you need just down the hill. A bit like the Greenwich Village of Cape Town! I can really recommend this lovely apartment for anyone going to Cape Town.
