Le Petit Poucet is located in the exclusive Bel Ombre Meadow area of Upper Constantia, one of the most beautiful suburbs in Cape Town. Relax in the peace and tranquillity of the picturesque rural Constantia Valley, renowned for its world famous wine farms, while being centrally located for all that the Fairest Cape has to offer.

Our two bedroom cottage is set in a private and secure 1.5 acre garden with magnificent mountain views. It is conveniently situated just a short drive from Constantia Village and Cavendish shopping centres, while Cape Town City Centre, blue flag beaches, Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, and Cape Town International Airport are only a 20 minute drive away. Golfers have a choice of five local courses and hikers have beautiful forest and mountain walks on their doorstep.

The cottage has its own secluded courtyard which overlooks the lush garden with mountain views and a sparkling swimming pool. It is comfortably furnished and fully equipped for self-catering, offering accommodation for up to four persons, children are most welcome. There is an open-plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and lounge that leads onto a private outside patio with braai (BBQ) facilities. The kitchen features a stove, hob, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, and coffee machine. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite shower, while the second bedroom has a queen-size bed with en-suite bathroom with shower and bath.

Facilities include, secure off-street parking directly outside cottage, Fully alarmed for your added security, Full Satellite DStv bouquet plus a DVD player, Unlimited free Wi-Fi internet access, Large swimming pool and a Braai (BBQ) We also offer, Bed linen and bath towels, a safe, a hairdryer, fan and wall heaters.

There is an Iron & ironing board as well as drying facilities, laundry services which are also available.
Crockery and cutlery is provided. Daily housekeeping with the exception of weekends and public holidays is available.
Initial basic grocery stock up service is offered and guests will pay as per till slip.

Airport collection can be arranged on request.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Oxana (the owner) a message.

If Oxana (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
