About the home

The brand new development was inspired by the early 1900’s buildings of New York City, and will shortly be surrounded by sidewalk cafes, restaurants, bars and quaint boutique stores. Located in the trendiest neighborhood of Cape Town, De Waterkant, The Rockwell is within easy walking distance of everything a city-lover would need to stay happily entertained: The popular Victoria Alfred Waterfront is only a few blocks away, while well-known Long Street and it’s cosmopolitan mix of tourists and inhabitants is an easy few minutes walk away. A five-minute drive will take you to the base of Table Mountain, while the beautiful beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton are only 10-minutes away. This incredible coastal drive will take you all the way to the exclusive beach neighborhood of Llududno, or further to the quaint area of Hout Bay. Needless to say, there is plenty to do in your immediate area, never mind the further away areas of the Cape Winelands and the pretty Boland towns further inland.

Cape Town (Afrikaans: Kaapstad; Xhosa: iKapa) is the second most populous city in South Africa, forming part of the metropolitan municipality of the City of Cape Town. According to the 2007 Community Survey, the city has a population of 3.5 million. Cape Town's land area of 2,455 square kilometres (948 sq mi) is larger than other South African cities, resulting in a comparatively lower population density of 1,425 people per square kilometre (3,689/sq mi). Cape Town is twinned with Nice in France and Haifa in Israel.

Flying to South Africa is very easy as every International Airline flies in and out of Cape Town every day.

From the airport it's a quick 15 minutes drive. We can arrange a hire car for you or an airport transfer - we can even have the hire car delivered to your door when you are at the luxury apartment!

Direction wise from the airport - you'll be travelling south on the highway - no turn off's which makes it really easy!
