The Meadows is a stunning thatched home you can use as a base, as you explore all that Cape Town has to offer.
Location:- The Meadows is located in picturesque Noordhoek. The house overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and Noordhoek Beach is just a short drive away.
Living:- This house was designed for family and fun. The open plan living area (which includes a dining area for 8 and a modern kitchen ) is beautifully placed under a enormous sky light. During the day, relax and read a book whilst looking up at the magnificent blue sky, at night, keep an eye out for the full moon or the dazzling reflection of the candles on the dining table. Large fold out doors take you directly onto the patio where you can enjoy an Al Fresco dinner or barbecue whilst overlooking the swimming pool, meadow and ocean beyond. The sunsets are magnificent. In addition, the house has a second lounge, tastefully decorated with a delightful Jet Master fire place. A wonderfully peaceful room in both the summer and winter months.
This truly is a home where you can relax and enjoy time both in and outside. The house is located approximately 3 Km away from The Noordhoek Farm Village, where you will find 3 restaurants, a pub, a cafe, a children`s play area and a divine selection of craft stores. 5 km away you will find a shopping mall with a few more restaurants and a cinema.

Stunning walks, horse riding on the beach, sea kayaking, camel rides, mountain biking, township tours, health and beauty spas, fine dining or pub grub and you haven`t left Noordhoek yet! A 40 minute drive will take you to the city, the airport, famous wine-lands, Cape Point, the Waterfront or Table Mountain and the fabulous Kirstenbosch Gardens.
How to get there
Direct flights from the U.K on the services of Virgin Atlantic, British Airways & South African Airways, alternatively fly via Johannesburg. Great deals can be found on budget airlines out of Johannesburg to Cape Town. The Meadows is approximately a 40 minute drive from Cape Town International Airport. Directions will be provided on confirmation of your reservation.

Further details indoors: Bedrooms:- The Meadows has 3 en suite bedrooms. The master bedroom is located off the living area and offers a view over the meadow and onto the sea beyond. The bathroom is modern and has a bath and over-bath shower. The second bedroom has two 'buddy-beds" - which enables you to sleep up to 4 children. The bathroom is modern with a large shower . The third bedroom is located upstairs in a stunning loft setting. It has 2 beds that can be separated, or joined to make a king size bed. The bathroom has a full shower and is located under the thatch.
Further details outdoors: The Meadow / Garden :- The house is named in honour of the delightful meadow that produces at random the most glorious array of plant life. At times, long swishing grass, or a feast of arum lilies, or purple blooms. In the trees along the side of the meadow, families of guinea fowl roost every evening. It is common to awake to the sounds of peacocks roaming around in this area. The garden is planted using mainly indigenous plants. There is plenty of space for the kids to throw a ball, have a game of cricket or enjoy some time on the swings and slide. The swimming pool is netted for safety and is located directly in front of the patio and living area.
