The iconic Table Mountain overlooks the city, bay and World heritage site of Robben Island. The scenery in the Cape is spectacular , with mountain ranges, rustic vineyards, long white sandy beaches, exotic wild- and marine life and a completely unspoiled hinder land of charming towns and villages.
The Capes climate is Mediterranean, with warm dry summers and variable winters. For outdoor pursuits there is golfing, hiking, diving, sailing, kayaking, kite surfing, horse back riding, fishing, paragliding and sunbathing to name but a few.

Cape Town / Welgemoed area
Only 20 km north of Cape Town, the Durbanville wine route, like Constantia, is very close to the mother city but frequently overlooked. ??Some nine estates lie on the beautiful, rolling Tygerberg hills, producing a wide variety of wines. The terroir is vastly different from one cellar to the next, and whilst some farms are influenced by the cool Atlantic Ocean, deep soils and night-time mists, those within the interior valley are snugger and warm. The result - a vast range of fruit-driven and stylish wines, some of whose history dates back as far as the late 1600s. The wine growers too range from the more traditional to the ultra modern and visiting the estates makes for a busy but rewarding day.
The Bellville golf course lies in front of Villa Traduire and in the surrounding rolling hills with enviable views of the Hottentots Holland Mountains in the distance. This 18-hole golf course is well bunkered with five water holes, and the dams and water canals attract birds, which only add to the enjoyment of a challenging round of golf. You’re five minutes’ away from the Tygervalley Waterfront And Shopping mall and Willobridge Shopping Centre with their feast of shops, restaurants and entertainment. Then you are a mere five minutes from the wine estates of the Durbanville wine route and in close range of the city of Cape Town.
