Capdepera / Cala Mesquida area
Beach in Cala Mesquida is one of the beaches that have been recognised for its special ecological and environment value and also for their cleanliness, facilities and water. The whole area is one of the few places where pine forests still overlook the sea. Nearby beach Cala Agulla is one of the most beautiful beaches with the cleanest water in the Mediterranean. The lively port in Cala Ratjada offers boat excursiones. The old spanish town of Capdepera is 2 kms inland and has a 13 century castle. Another historical town Arta is about 12 km away. Local facilities: 3 of the best Golf Courses on the island are within 10km from the apartment (Canyamel, Roca Viva in Capdepera and Pula-Golf in Son Servera). Nearest golf course (Capdepera) is a 5 km. Other activities: Horse riding, cycling, walking, tennis, diving, boat trips, rock climbing (Betlem) and much more .
How to get there
The best way to arrive to Cala Mesquida is hiring a car at the airport. Then you take a motorway towards Manacor, and then follow signes to Arta/Cala Ratjada. Ones you arrive in Capdepera, you take a small rod that leads you to Cala Mesquida. In case you do not want to hire a car you can take a bus from the airport to the city centre of Palma de Mallorca, Plaza España. From there you take a bus to Cala Mesquida.
