Further details indoors

Casale de' Pasquinelli is situated amidst the hills that close the northern plain of Lucca, in an area where, thanks to its particularly favourable climate for growing vineyards and olive trees, many farms began to appear as far back as the 1500s, together with numerous important historic villas.

Overlooking the hillslopes with splendid views of the plain of Lucca, only 14 km away, surrounded by a large grove of oak and olive trees and is set inside an estate that not only produces excellent olive oil, but also vegetables, fruit and honey. Recently renovated, the casale has been divided into four very spacious houses Camelia Orchidea Melograno and Ginestra, of various size and all of which are independent. Villa Margherita is the fifth unit and it is located in front of the Casale.

In the restoration work prestigious materials were used with high quality results; the ceilings with wooden ceiling beams and the terracotta floors reflect Tuscan tradition, as do the antique furniture and 'pietra serena' fireplaces, perfectly combined with the equipped kitchens, the Carrara marble bathrooms, some with jacuzzi bathtubs, the style of the décor and the attention which has been given to every last detail, create an elegant, cosy and very comfortable atmosphere.

All the houses have wireless Internet access and a shared laundry room available with washing machine and iron. The outside garden is very well kept and full of flowers, with equipped areas for outdoor dining for each house, a beautiful swimming pool, a wood burning oven for baking bread and pizzas and a barbecue.

Exclusive rental of the Casale for a large group is possible (for a total of 18 bedrooms), also for weddings and conferences: in this case, in addition to enjoying all the spacious living-rooms in the various houses, a large outdoor shared area with tables for dining will be made available as well as the cellar, which can be used as a dining room and an additional kitchen next to the wood burning oven. These facilities allow the entire group to eat and stay all together.

Lots of rooms and sitting areas can be found either outside and inside, those make it the right place to enjoy family and friends and also to have the own personal privacy.

Villa Margherita is a separate building with the own gateway, car park and the own swimming pool (6x12m) it means that if you rent the entire property, you will have 2 swimming pools to enjoy.

In the property you can also find a ping-pong table and 2 swings to entertain your kids!

The Tuscany region

From the Etruscans to the Romans to the Renaissance, Tuscany is possibly the greatest repository of art in the world, from extraordinary paintings and sculpture to frescoes and architectural masterpieces.

Visitors to Tuscany come for many reasons. Many come in search of fine art, others to explore the extraordinary countryside. Gourmets and wine buffs descend on Tuscany to enjoy the simple yet wonderful cuisine and wine. Walkers enjoy the mountain paths, cyclists the rolling hills, summer vacationers the sea coast and islands. Students come to learn the beautiful Italian language and culture.

There is a lot to see and do in Tuscany, the difficulty is really where to start. The roll call of città di arte, cities of art, is daunting: Arezzo, Cortona, San Gimignano and Lucca are all striking. The more you come to know the region, the more extraordinary Tuscany appears. Enjoy your visit!

Lucca is a medieval city, one of the most beautiful in Tuscany. Don’t miss a walk around the ancient preserved city walls, where you’ll enjoy sweeping views over the city’s beautiful palaces and churches. Here the locals stroll, walk their dogs, chat on benches under plane trees and enjoy early evening passeggiate. The town has numerous tempting bars and trattorie, and is great for shopping. There is an outdoor market once a week which is well worth visiting to stock up on fresh produce, and an antiques market once a month.

The city is ideally positioned for exploring the best of Tuscany, being close to Florence, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano and Versilia. Versilia is famous for its beaches and nightlife (discos, clubs and bars). There are fascinating wine routes you can drive from Lucca.
