Our apartment 'Carpe Diem' is set back 200 metres from the sea with a beautiful terrace offering a stunning panoramic views of the sea. It is an ideal place to relax and admire the sun set, bask in the warmth or eat in tranquil harmony. The apartment has two double bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom and one smaller bedroom with a double bed with separate shower and WC. With a sofa bed in the lounge there is space for two additional sleepers. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, fridge freezer and microwave. The dining area has ample space to entertain and the lounge offers a relaxing place to sit . There is a HIFI, TV with a DVD player and a DVD collection. A cozy, wood burning fireplace in the lounge can be lit to warm up chilly evenings. A short walk away there are two idyllic swimming pools, restaurants, a bar, a gym, sauna, tennis courts, kids playground, WIFI access at the Club House, private beach and private marina. For those with an appreciation for art and architecture the development is truly unique as it was designed by an apprentice of Gaudi.
An ideal apartment for a family with children or equally for couples, you can sit back and relax, enjoy the surrounding areas or for the more adventurous there is plenty of outdoor activities to do including walking and trekking, climbing, amazing cycling and water sports.

The development offers beautiful gardens where you can go for a quiet stroll in the sun. There are two swimming pools, one is ideal for kids and another is geared to adults where you can bask in the sun and read a book. The two restaurants offer excellent food, one being more relaxed and the other more formal and they serve lunch breakfast and dinner. The bar is great place to enjoy a drink in the evening and the fully equipped gym is ideal for burning some energy.

The area of the Cote d'Azur is amongst the most beautiful in Europe. With breathtaking scenery, ancient hill top villages, winding coastal roads, incredible sea views and lovely yellow beaches it has something for everyone. Mixed in with this there are great restaurants, bars, markets and shops with the glitz and glamor of Cannes and St Tropez around the corner. The climate in the summer is perfect for sun soaking and in the winter it is often sunny and crisp. There is plenty for art lovers including the Picasso museum in Antibes where Picasso lived, the modern art museum Fondation Maeght and the artists village of St Paul de Vence. For the active and adventurous there is the Alpes Maritime, the foothills of the Alps, where you can trek, climb, cycle and explore. For the kids, there are nearby fun parks, watersports and Nice is nearby if you start to miss the city.
The Cap Esterel area
Nearby the La Galere development where the apartment is located is the town of Theoule Sur Mer. Located on the coast it has a lovely beach and several restaurants, ideal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a great boulangerie (bakers) ideal for picking up some baguettes or croissants for your breakfast on the terrace. There is a tourist information that provides all details of local activities, walking routes etc. Further along the coast is the larger town of La Napoule offering more restaurants, seaside market, beach and bars. For those looking for golf there is the Cannes Mandelieu 18 hole and 9 hole golf course which is the oldest golf course in the Alpes Maritime.

Our stunning apartment within the exclusive private domaine of Port La Galere is a 30 minute drive from Nice airport. Various budget airlines fly into Nice including Easyjet that fly to Nice from several European destinations. The apartment is an easy 30 minute drive from the airport along the A8 motorway followed by a breathtaking climb along a coastal road with stunning views over the sea and Cannes down below. If you do not wish to hire a car, you can catch a 30 minute train ride from Nice to Theoule Sur Mer which is then a short bus ride or taxi to La Galere. The apartment is 15 minutes from the glitz of Cannes by car and easily reached from Italy and elsewhere in France with the excellent nearby A8 motorway.
We would recommend the hire of a car to give you the best opportunity to explore the area, restaurants and experience the stunning scenery of the Cot D'Azur
