12/29/12. "Wonderful property, congratulations to the owners for the selection of this homestead with its own cove".

Hawks Cry is located at the northern most tip of the island, where the trade winds are refreshing. The spacious interior has been professionally designed to reflect Caribbean outdoor living. There are beautiful views down into the cove below and across to Martinique. Hawks Cry is an ideal retreat for couples, or perfect for a group of family or friends. The bi-fold balcony doors give open air living to the house.

We have had several honeymooners who all adored Hawks Cry. The first wedding took place here this August 2014, planned by Kayte from Awesome Caribbean Weddings. Cassandra Black, the opera singer, and her husband said, "We can't praise the place enough. It was simply surreal to have our happy moment there. Many thanks, Cassandra &James Baxter"

Birds of prey, including Osprey, have been seen hunting in the area. Humpback Whales and Orcas can be seen from the balcony during their migration. Turtles can be observed laying their eggs on nearby beaches. Tree frogs and sounds of the sea lull you to sleep at night. The gardens are landscaped and planted with palms and tropical flowers, attracting Humming Birds - a perfect place for nature lovers.

Within a short drive is Rodney Bay Marina, which has shopping, banking and dining facilities.

A further 2 minutes down the road is Rodney Bay, the island's entertainment capital with shopping malls, a casino, restaurants and a lively night life.

Thank you for your review on Hawks Cry, and for taking the time to write about our wonderful home. We really appreciate your comments about the house and Victoria, our property manager.
We have been asked a number of times about the communal 52 foot infinity swimming pool in the garden. Like you, we found it very rarely used, as a majority of our neighbours, work on the island, and are out all day, Our own plunge pool is beautifully private and is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the sun.

"A superb place for a holiday"

“Hawk's Cry”, St Lucia

We have very recently returned from a fortnight at Hawk's Cry, a house in the Cap Estate in the north of St Lucia. We can state without qualification that it was a marvellous experience in every respect.

The development is new, spacious, beautifully appointed and maintained. Its facilities are excellent, with everything to hand for a most comfortable stay, a superb swimming pool on the site and a tranquil atmosphere. We were advised before we arrived of the presence of building work in the immediate vicinity and so were on the look-out for possible disturbance. A combination of very effective double-glazing, the aspect of the house being away from the work and any noise being slight meant we suffered no problems whatsoever.

We enjoyed Caribbean weather, a most hospitable population and care and attention from our hosts to ensure a most satisfying and memorable holiday. We can thoroughly recommend a stay at Hawk's Cry (complete with passing hawk!)

"Heaven on Earth"

I have been twice to "Hawks Cry" and will go again. My favourate beach is on Pidgeon Island, small and beautiful with local bar and resturaunt. Lots of shopping and good resturaunts in nearby Rodney Bay. Try Spinnakers resturaunt - right on the beach - good food and atmosphere. Hire a car and drive around the island and see the Pitons, or just relax around the pool and enjoy the wonderful weather.
