The beautifully furnished spacious accommodation has 3 double bedrooms, no one needs to sleep in the lounge. The large, 30.6 square metres, lounge/diner is comfortably furnished, with patio doors leading onto additional dining for 6 people on the balcony, because of the 4" stepover, shown on the photograph, the patio doors do not allow easy wheelchair access to the balcony, but there are two lifts that give good wheelchair access to the apartment, making it suitable for elderly, but not infirm guests.

The beautiful flat sandy beach is only 200 metres away which makes it ideal for both children and adults. On the doorstep there are numerous restaurants and shops. There is free live entertainment down the Mail during the summer season, which stops at midnight to enable peaceful sleeping, but for the more adventurous the nightclubs in centre port go on until the early hours.

Also every Monday there is a full French Market in the Mail and surrounding area.

The lounge is spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, integrated oven and hob, but for those who want to take advantage of the many take away restaurants and precooked food outlets we also have a microwave.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances.

The master bedroom has a large double bed, Sea Views, large fitted wardrobe & patio doors onto the balcony. The second bedroom has 2 single beds that can be pulled together to act as a double and a large fitted wardrobe.

The third bedroom has a sofa bed that can be used as a double or two singles. The bathroom has 2 basins and a powerful shower. There is a separate toilet.

The Languedoc-Roussillon region

This part of France is rightly known as the hottest area, both for climate and entertainment. The area is abundant with vineyards benefiting from the very long hours of sunshine, indeed the local wines are banned from adding sugar to the grapes, unlike most other areas, because of the natural sweetness produced by the sun.

To the east of the region lies the Carmargue, famous for the wild white horses and all along the coast stretch miles of golden sandy beaches. Apart from the fantastically flavoured local fruit and vegetables the area boasts of the freshest seafood and shellfish, 90% of France's mussels and oysters come from this region.

So during your visit you can be sure of being nicely roasted on the outside and delightfully fed on the inside.

Cap d'Agde

On the edge of the Camargue Cap d'Agde was chosen by President Charles D'Gaule to build France's premier marina, so rather than growing out of an industrial port the town was carefully planned from the beginning. Around the beautiful marina is a large pedestrian area of restaurants, bars and shops, where you can drink and eat as you watch the boats gently bobbing or simply watch the people promenading by.

As the town faces south you can toast the sun as it rises and sets. Around the outside of the pedestrianised area are many tree covered car parks and beyond them are the roads, keeping vehicles and people safely apart.

For entertainment many of the bars and restaurants have free live performers but for the more energetic there is Luna Park, full of nerve jangling rides, or Aqualand water park, with large slides and tubes, or scuba diving, or the large carting circuit, or quad bikes, or horse riding, or sea fishing, or hiring a motor boat, or going to the many night clubs, or............I feel exhausted already, I think I'll just go back and lie down on the sun lounger on the beach.
