About the home

Villa Le Pavot is a very centrally located villa within walking distance of the beach and all amenities.
It is in a very well maintained secure residence. Located near Plage Richlieu and the famous Cap d'Agde golf course. Boat hire, fishing, water sports and golf nearby.
The villa is very well co-ordinated and furnished throughout. It has a well equipped kitchen with a plentiful supply of crockery and cooking utensils together with all the electrical equipment expected. A home from home!

There is one double bedroom downstairs and another double bedroom upstairs with an option of an additional single bed, if required.

There is satellite TV (English) and french television. In addition there is a portable air conditioning unit and fans for those hot days. In contrast there is heating for out of season times.

The villa boasts a private terrace with an outside table, chairs & sun loungers and a barbecue.

The terrace is private and totally enclosed. There is an awning over part of the terrace for shade and in addition a parasol is provided. Sun loungers and table and chairs are provided. The car park space is ideally located directly beside the villa making it easier for unloading and loading the car. The villa is in a secure residence.

Further details

The villa is available for renting all year. In Summer (June to September the changeover day is Saturday). At other times of the year the changeover day can be flexible. Out of season it is possible to book for weekend stays or long term lets.
A deposit of £100 for each week booked is payable on booking and the balance is payable 12 weeks prior to the date of departure. The booking form can be downloaded from our own website and posted to the address shown together with the deposit.

Long lets are possible between October and March. Please ask for details.

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Herault region

Languedoc is the region stretching from the Rhone to the Garonne. Toulouse is the capital of the Haut
Languedoc and Montpellier is the capital of Bas (Mediterranean) Languedoc. The region is divided into five
different departments namely: Gard, Lozere, Herault, Pyrenees Orientales, & Aude.
Le Cap d'Agde is located in the department of Herault on the meditteranean coast. This area is renowned for
beautiful sandy beaches and more days of sunshine per year than any other region.
There are numerous places of interest to vist such as the capital Montpellier - visit the famous square Place de
la Comedie, the superb gardens and take a tour on the new intercity tramline. Visit the port of Marseillan - a picturesque village featured around a harbour - visit Noilly Prat famous for its fortified wine!
Visit Sete which was built on the slopes and at the foot of Mont St Clair at the edge of the Thau lagoon. The sandy beach stretches over 15km west from Sete as far as Cap d'Agde.
Visit also the old town of Agde which is steeped in history. It competes with Marseille for one of the oldest towns
in France.

The Cap d'Agde area

Cap d'Agde occupies one of the best sites on the Languedoc coast. It has a sheltered harbour with more than eight marinas along its shores. The architectural style of centre port Cap d'Agde is inspired by traditional Languedoc architecture of pastel walls and tiled roofs. From the Port are the winding streets leading to piazzas.
Centre Port has numerous shops, bars and restaurants to suit everyone.
There are numerous sandy beaches in the area namely: Plage Richlieu, Plage Rochelongue, Plage le Mole,
Plage de la Conque, Plage Rochille. Plage Naturist is in a separate area with controlled access only.
There are numerous activies such as watersports, boat hire, fishing, jet ski hire, diving, horse riding, tennis,
golf, cycling, leisure park, aqualand water park to name but a few.
Traditional markets are held in Cap d'Agde on Saturday and in Agde on a Thursday. There are also numerous markets in other towns nearby. Details on request.
Cap d'Agde is truly a resort for people of all ages.

“A little bit of paradise!!” We loved Le Pavot - a small house - with a lovely patio where you could sit in sun or shade. The house was furnished and equipped with all you could wish and was very comfortable. The situation was ideal and we found it easy to find with the owners directions. It was very near beautiful beaches, and the port and marinas with their numerous bars and restaurants. All in all a lovely holiday.

Price is based on up to 4 people sharing. Additional persons will incur a charge of £25 per person.

Prices include bed linen and towels and final cleaning. A deposit of £50 per booking is required and will be refunded if house is left in good condition and no breakages or damage and sheets and towels put in the washing machine on departure.

Pets are considered. Cost £10 per pet per booking.

Child's cot available for rent at £10 per booking.

Child's high chair available for rent at £10 per booking.

Payment can be made in sterling or the equivalent in euros. Payment is by sterling or euro bank transfer only. A first payment of £100 or €100 for each week booked is required immediately on making the reservation and the balance is payable 12 weeks in advance of arrival date. If the balance is not paid by the due date we reserve the right to re-let the property.
