Villa Brigliadori is a mansion set inside a residential area with all the comforts you need to spend a relaxing, sporting and cultural holiday: surrounded by beautiful woods, shared summer swimming pool (June/August), tennis court, small soccer field, children garden, this are the facilities we have inside our residence. 10 minutes from Como City and Lake Como, 15 minutes from the Swiss border, 40 minutes drive or train from Milan.

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area
Our property is set in one of the greenest areas of lombardy. We are few minutes drive from Prealps where beautiful trekking and hiking paths are wating for all level walkers.
Villa Brigliadori is the right choice either if you want relaxing and sporting in nature (several hiking paths start right away from our property), boating on lakes (10 minutes drive), horse riding( 10 minutes walk), playing golf (20 minutes walk- 5 minutes drive). Lake Como, with all its stunning naturalistic and cultural beauties, is only 10 minutes drive from the property.
Ideal if you want to meet the economic and cultural side of the region, visiting Milano city (40 minutes drive, 1 hour by train), Como (15 minutes drive) and Varese( 1 hour drive) but with the comfort to be in a quite place surrounded by beautiful woods with fine facilties where you can relax, suntan and meeting the local habits and culture. The climate is warm in summer but never hot, and in winter temperature rarely goes below zero. Spring is good sometimes rainy and autumn nice temperature.
Cantu / Capiago area
Ideal for families and couples who love nature, in one week it's possible to make everyday different things: walking in woods and countryside, horse riding, hiking and trekking on close mountains (there are several paths with different difficulty), but also visiting lake Como by boating or by car (there are many famous places to visit like Villa Olmo, Villa Geno, Cernobbio and Villa d'este, etc.)
Also for cultural life it's the right choice: from June to August there is the Lario Jazz Festival that practicly everynight offers open and free concerts and live music in the most important towns of this area and also Lugano Jazz and Festate in the very close Switzerland (30 minutes drive).
For shopping fans the very heart of Como city offers beautiful and fancy shops where it's possible to spend an entire day, meeting the world famous italian style and at the same time dining and lounging in nice open bars in the beauty of an ancient city like Como.
For gourmets Como offers magnificent restaurants for all taste and all level of price.
For night life fans very important to mention at the middle of June is the Notte Bianca (White Night) in Como City where for all the night the City does't sleep and in all squares there are concerts and bars, restaurants stay open all night.
How to get there
Fly to Milan Malpensa Airport and then hire a car, take the highway to Milan, after 20 kms look for direction Como, then after 15 kms look for exit Fino Mornasco, then follow direction Cantù, and when you are in Cantù, go for Intimiano, when you are there ask for Residence Cascina Pelada, the property is only 40 km (40 minutes drive) from the airport. Further details indoors: Our family villa, built in the early 70s, has been divided in 2 aparments and restored interiorly with modern and essential style in order to offer hospitality to tourists who want to visit this area of Italy. Brigliadori brothers live in the apartment aside and as they lived abroad many years of their lives, enjoy guesting foreigner tourists in their property.
Further details outdoors: The property is inserted in a private residential village, has got its own private garden and a big porch for barbecue, dining and relaxing. Just outside the garden there are all sporting area described.

Welcome pack provided on arrival. Swimming pool only available June, July, August, and first half of September. Landlords speaking English, Spanish and French and available all the time as they live aside.
Conditions
No cats or dogs Strictly no smoking inside except on the porch. Refundable breakages deposit of € 200,00 required on arrival, to be refunded at departure. €150,00 of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking. Property no good for wheelychairs.
