Casa del Careve is located in the picturesque Almanzora valley, 5 minutes drive from market town of Cantoria and overlooks the local dried river bed (Rambla)and has mountain views. To the east, the golden sands of Mojacar, Garrucha and Vera are only 45 minutes away, as are the famous Desert Springs and Valle de Este Golf Resorts. To the west , towards Granada, the Alhambra Palace and Europe's sunniest ski resort - Sierra Nevada. The villa has its own private 9x5m pool and a large patio area where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer. A newly built terrace gives extra sunshine in the evening. Plenty of outdoor space for barbecues and al- fresco dining. Gated and fenced all round, and furnished to a high standard. The villa is ideal for couples or families who just, want to chill out and relax. and for holidaymakers who enjoy the real Spain. The villa would make an ideal base for those looking to buy in the area.There is also parking space for several cars.Tea, coffee, sugar and basic pantry food provided.

The Costa de Almeria region
The region of Almeria is an arid landscape with some outstanding areas of natural beauty. Spaghetti Westerns have been filmed here as has Lawrence of Arabia. 3,000 hrs of sunshine per year, combined with the warm Mediterranean climate makes it ideal for all types of outdoor activities ~ birdwatching, walking, painting and sightseeing in the real Spain. Coastal resorts of Mojacar, Garrucha and Vera are within easy reach. The Cabo de Gata national park, designated a Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO in 1997, covers some 38,000 hectares of land. Albox is nestled between the spectacular mountain ranges known as the "Sierra de Los Filabres" and the "Sierra de Las Estancias" in the Almanzora Valley.
Cantoria area
A new road network in the vicinity means that you can get from the three nearest airports (Almeria / Granada / Murcia) to within 1/2 mile of the villa on major routes cutting down on travel time. The nearest town of Cantoria (5 mins by car) has a bank, a small supermarket, police station, fishmonger, bakery, post office,tobacconist and several tapas bars and cafes. Small winding streets and a spectacular church in the town centre make this a very typical Spanish town. Albox (10 mins drive) has a market every Tuesday which winds through the streets into the Rambla (dry river bed). Cantoria holds their market on a Wednesday. You can visit a different market every day of the week most of which are within a 40 min drive. Horse riding Rancho Luz Del Sol (viva-almeria.com), Diving, Off road motorbikes(ccquads.com), all available in the area. A water park -The Parque Aquatico Vera (Aquavera.com) is a popular tourist attraction and is only 30 mins away. Oasys, previously known as Mini Hollywood is less than an hour away. This is a cowboy town with CanCan girls, western style shoot out and a zoo. Great fun for a full day out. Brochures for these can be found in the villa, along with maps, business activitity cards and various fliers for things to see, do and try.

Welcome pack available for late or sunday arrivals . Let us know in advance what you require and it will be waiting for you, then simply pay our key holder on arrival. Baby equipment, i.e. cot, high chair, bath and potty available to rent.at £10.00 for the set per week.

Meet and Greet service with our key holder. Linen and towel changing weekly . Cleaned throughout between lets. Pool maintenance (twice weekly in summer, weekly in winter) will occur. Please be advised that the pool has a deep end (6'6"). Children should be supervised. Gardener visits fortnightly.

A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 will secure your booking with the remaining balance due 6 weeks prior to occupation.
