Apple Tree Cottage
About the home
This pretty detached cottage is nestled in a hidden valley set right off the beaten track and yet within eight miles of the beautiful cathedral city of Canterbury. There are a couple of good local pubs within easy reach and wonderful walks in all directions from the cottage.
Although a period cottage, the owner has sympathetically refurbished it to a very high standard yet keeping all the original beams which add character to this cosy cottage. The rooms are of a good size and there is a real feeling of light and airiness to the cottage. The rural views from all rooms, but particularly the sitting room are lovely.
Large comfy sofas mix with personal touches to give the cottage a cosy feel. The patio area has an attractive open aspect with table and chairs to enjoy the sun on warm days.
All in all this would be a lovely place to stay, comfortable peaceful – perfect for a weekend break or as a base for your holiday! You can even bring your horse with you as the owner has the facilities to accommodate one at the farm.
