This luxury modern day Coach house style 2 bed apartment is situated in the peaceful grounds of St Lawrence, home of the Kent County Cricket Club and is a superb base for exploring the rich heritage of the County of Kent and Canterbury which includes the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Cathedral, St Augustines Abbey and St Martin's Church. It also is ideally positioned for visiting all the historic castles of Kent most of which are within a 30minutes drive - Dover castle together with the famous white cliffs, Leeds castle near Maidstone, Hever castle near Edenbridge or Rochester castle are just a few.

Spend a day in London via the Javelin train from Canterbury to St Pancras in only 59 minutes.

Enjoy a day in France, take your car via the car ferry (Dover) or Eurotunnel (Folkestone), feeling more adventurous then go further afield with Eurostar (Ashford International) to Paris or Brussels.

Allocated under cover parking and FREE WIFI is included in the package..

The apartment is totally non smoking, decorated and furnished in a contemporary modern style and whose owners offer attention to detail such as a 40” inch flat screen television with freeview/DVD in the lounge and a 32” inch wide screen television in the master bedroom. A SONY DAB radio system with ipad/ipod and CD play back is supplied for your enjoyment in the lounge area whilst relaxing in the full leather contemporary seating. Both bedrooms have ipod alarm DAB clocks and “touch” bed side lamps. Books and games such as cards/backgammon/chess are supplied as is a study area with desk facility which compliments the apartment with a full alarm system and personal safe.

There is a separate fully secure lockable store room under the apartment which is capable of holding 4 x bicycles and has been fitted with coat rails to allow wet/damp outer garments to dry off – note this store is not heated so should not be considered as a drying room.

It also has within 100metres a Sainsbury local minimarket open from 07:00 to 23:00 every day for all your requirements during a self catering stay.

Regretfully being a first floor apartment accessed via a flight of stairs this apartment is not recommended for guests with mobility restrictions especially those in wheelchairs.

Please note that we do not allow children under 14 in the apartment (unless by prior agreement) and that pets are also not allowed.

The South East England region

The historic City of Canterbury is ideally positioned for visitors to access the whole of Kent and the South East of England with road links to all the major castles and the iconic Kent coastline including the famous White Cliffs of Dover.

Golfers are spoilt by the number of top class courses within a 35 min drive including the world renown Princes course at Sandwich. Walkers and cyclists are also well catered for with some excellent walks and routes all around Canterbury including of course the original Pilgrims way.

London is but a 57min train journey via the new fast Javelin connection from Canterbury and for those who wish to venture further a trip to Paris or Brussels on EUROSTAR is possible via Ashford International station - just a 20min drive from the apartment.


The spiritual home of the Church of England, Canterbury Cathedral is but a 20min walk from the apartment as is the vibrant cosmopolitan City centre with it's abundance of bars, coffee shops, restaurants and excellent retail outlets.

"Great experience in Canterbury!"

We are a family of three and we stayed one week in Canterbury. We definitely had a wonderful time there. The apartment is just ideal: very comfortable, clean and fully equiped. Really nothing to complain about. It's exactly as described on the website, and maybe more.
In addition, a local Sainsbury's is located next door: very practical for shopping. Having a car, we also appreciated the car park just under the apartment.
Last but not least, we were given a warm reception by the owner, who is a very nice and helpful person;
We recommend this accommodation to anyone!

"An excellent Executive Apartment in a great location."

Being very fussy about where we stay, this apartment ticked all the boxes when we were looking for somewhere to stay in Canterbury. Modern, contemporary design, clean, relatively new, good parking, good self catering facilities, and a accessible location close to all the places of interest in the City where we wouldn't have to drive all the time.
On arrival the apartment did not disappoint. it met all my criteria, and more. A home from home for us in fact, which helped us relax quickly and enjoy our short break.
Situated on a new residential estate with a Sainsbury City store just round the corner, everything was clean and tidy inside the apartment and outside. It was also very quiet, except in the morning around 7am when the Sainsbury lorry pulled up with deliveries for that day. We got used to this after a few days and it did not spoil our enjoyment of the apartment. Also for having the benefit of the shop close by, it was worth it.
Situated on what was part of the Cricket Club grounds the apartment would be a great place to stay if you were into Cricket. However we weren't but, it did offer us easy access into town on foot. Within 15 minutes you were on the High Street of Canterbury with more than enough shops of all types to suit all tastes. There is also plenty to see and do in Canterbury, so we were never bored. We must have covered at least 6 miles a day just strolling about. Great places to eat and drink are easily found in the city, especially along the west end area, The Marlowe Theatre is also worth a visit with some great shows.
Canterbury is also well located for the south coast. We visited the White Cliffs of Dover etc. The apartment is also well located for day trips to France, although we never ventured this far. We walked the Great Stour Way, but found this very disappointing.
In conclusion, if you have the same fussy selection criteria as us when selecting a destination and a place to stay, we would recommend staying at this apartment.
