Camper van | 1 bedrooms | sleeps 5
Freedom and fun are two of the most important feelings you want from your holiday. Going away in a GlamperVan will give you both by the bucket load! The vans have been designed around the needs of families but all are luxurious so the adults are well looked after, with Egyptian cotton bedding, coffee machines and all the equipment you need for a great, relaxing break, you just need to remember your toothbrush!
Bonnie Custard is a sunny yellow 1974 Commer campervan. She's a true British icon and with her gorgeous looks and interior she'll get you lots of attention. She has a double bed, 1 child bunk in the pop top roof and a child's bed in the front cab, so there's plenty of room and that's before you've put the awning up which sleep another two people! She comes complete with a 2 ring gas hob and grill, sink and fridge, great stereo that can connect to your laptop, phone and MP3 player and all the necessary electrical wizardry to allow you to plug your appliances in whether you are connected to the mains at a campsite or taking the family on a Bear Ghrylls adventure around....err....Kent! There's even an espresso coffee maker included so now you can make your morning coffee in bed. Not exactly roughing it eh?!
You choose your view and enjoy the chance to get some fresh air! With so many fantastic campsites around with relaxed atmospheres and superb facilities in the luxury of your GlamperVan and you've got it all!

The South East England region
Kent is known as the Garden of England in recognition of its attractive countryside and wealth of historic houses and gardens.
All our vans come with the Camping and Caravanning Club's Privilege membership. The membership really is quite handy – it gives you access to over 100 beautiful, award winning Camping and Caravanning club sites and also 20 stunning Forest Holiday Sites. And these sites are in great locations, just give us a call and we will help you to pick great campsites to make your adventure in any one of our campervans special.
Kent also offers superb opportunities for walking and cycling in delightful surroundings, including the North Downs and the High Weald. Knole Park, a magnificent 1000 acre deer park and home to the 16th century Knole House, can be found in Sevenoaks. Other sites of interest in Kent include Hever Castle, childhood home of Anne Boleyn; Leeds Castle, "The Loveliest Castle in the World", and historic Canterbury Cathedral.
The renowned city of Canterbury is less than a 5 minute drive away and is a must-see in terms of attractions and sights. The architectural beauty of Canterbury Cathedral, which dates back to 597 AD, is a wonder to behold and would be the highlight of any holiday or break. In 1170 Archbishop Thomas Beckett was brutally murdered on the steps of the alter in the Cathedral and thousands of Pilgrims pay homage each year. Other attractions include, The King's mile, St Dunstan's, West Gate Towers, Northgate and The Canterbury Tales. If you're feeling weary and wish to experience the sights without tiring your feet, you can take one of the River Tours and absorb the City by boat along the River Stour. There are museums, walking trails or guided walks to help you enjoy the narrow winding cobbled lanes. Canterbury is steeped in tradition but is also a modern and chic city with welcoming bars, pubs, nightclubs, fine restaurants, and a High Street with independent and high street stores.
Whitstable is about a 10 minute drive, this is a very popular with boutique shops, restaurants, pebble beaches and it also has a working harbour which you can wander along taking in the fresh sea air, with its local fresh seafood restaurants and the famous "Whitstable Oysters", this town was also home to the late Peter Cushing, who has Cushings Walk dedicated to him along the Island Wall, which is near to the well known fish restaurant the Pearsons Arms , which is now owned by the renowned and well known celebrity chef Richard Phillips.
Dover. A 30 minute drive, for easy access into Europe. Within the local area Dover castle is worth a visit, you can fill a whole day here so be prepared. Dover has a great shopping centre the De Bradelei Wharf shopping centre near to the harbour, also shops and restaurants within the town centre. The White Cliffs are of course a must see attraction too.
Broadstairs. The home of Charles Dickens, with Bleak House on the cliff top still stands, but now privately owned. This beautiful small harbour town has great beaches, they too also hold festivals throughout the year, this is a 40 minute car ride away. It is really worth making sure that you park and walk down to the small harbour and cafe's, as this is hidden from the main traffic route.
Ramsgate has plenty to see and do which is about a 40 minute drive away, with the Maritime museum, also plenty of shops and cafes along the harbours edge. Ramsgate also holds festivals throughout the year.
Sandwich, is 40 minutes away. Once the major port in England but now two miles from the sea Sandwich is arguably one of the best preserved medieval towns in the UK. Within the old town walls the many period houses, with their characteristic "Kent peg" roofs, are laid out in a street plan which has changed little since the creation of the Domesday book in 1086. This quintessential English town has an array of small shops, cafe's, pubs and bars, also the recently opened secret gardens.
