This beautiful romatic period cottage, approx 200 years old, has 3 bedrooms and is a haven for wildlife-peace and tranquility. This is Country living in style.

Enter through the stable door at the rear into the rustic bespoke hand made kitchen which contains gas hob, electric fan oven, microwave, coffee maker, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumle dryer, cooking and dining utensils.
The heavily beamed low ceilings give a sense of cosiness and warmth to the interior with open fire place in the lounge completeing the scene.
The accommadation provides a beautiful open plan spacious lounge, containing a new corner suite, newly fitted carpets, and a very large CINEMA TV SCREEN, positioned above the open [working] brick fire place.
The 3 bedrooms are light airy and spacious. The Master bedroom overlooks the garden to the rear.
There is an option of either the double futon for the lounge giving extra lounge seating for day time and a double bed at night time OR the dining table and chairs that seats 4 people
To the rear of the cottage is the secluded lawned garden with fruit trees. There is a decked area for seating and hot tub. Just perfect for sitting out with aglass of wine by day or eating al fresco by night!

The South East England / Kent region
Explore the beautiful Kentish coastline with its stunning scenery, sunsets, historical buildings and landmarks. The neighbouring town of Whitstable offers a working harbour with boat trips out to the Forts and Wind Farm. Whitstable is most famous for its oysters! and holds a festival annually in July.
For those more energetic there are a multitude of cycle and walking opportunities as well as water sports, golf and fishing.
The Royal St.Georges Golf Course & cinque ports of Sandwich are approx. 15 miles. With the Ports of Dover /, Folkestone, within easy driving distance, for trips across the channel to France.
Honey Cottage is an ideal base for touring, with train stations to London Victoria approx. 55 minutes. Herne Bay and Canterbury have a full range of shopping facilities as well as the famous Cathedral and other Historic Buildings, Theatre, and boasts excellent restaurants within the City Walls.
Canterbury / Blean area
Blean is located just 4 miles from the Catherdral city of Canterbury, in semi rural countryside, country lanes and woodland for walking,and yet not isolated .
A bus stops along the road from the cottage ,enabling you to get to all the surrounding villages, towns and beaches of Herne Bay and Whitstable.
The medieval town of Faversham is approx 20mins away,as is Margate,Ramsgate,Broadstairs. There are several golf courses within 10mins drive.
Supermarkets in Herne Bay and Whitstable 10mins. Local village shop in Blean within 10 minutes walking distance-.
If you want to see a magnificent beach sunset whilst enjoying a fabulous meal then visit the Pearson’s Arms public house in Whitstable only 4 miles from the Cottage.
Why not visit Druidstone Park, Whether your interested in meeting many friendly animals, having fun in the adventure play areas, admiring the unique collection of sculpture in the ArtPark, finding peace and tranquillity in the enchanted woodland walk with giant toadstools, dragons, goblins and white deer, or just relaxing in the idyllic surroundings of the park gardens you won't be disappointed Visit around Easter time and you will be astounded by the fabulous display of bluebells in the woodland. All of this within 3 minutes walk from the cottage.
