We were 10 adults and 2 children (a wedding party) staying in the cottage and had lots of other visitors as well and we never felt like there were too many of us in the cottage. the hot tub was also a really great thing to have. Just wonderful to be able to sit there with a couple of people and relax before retiring for the night. The number of bathrooms in the place was also a true advantage.
Grateful thanks to Robert for his understanding about us having so many vehicles on site too.
We would definitely recommend this cottage which is also very convenient for access to Canterbury and the surrounding beaches. It is very centrally situated.

With our Ozzie son being married in nearby Canterbury, we selected White Post Hay Loft and Stable for our extended familes stay for 1 week (6 adults & 3 children). This arrangement worked exceptionally well with Pop and Nan in the Loft whilst the ground floor was left to 3 children and 4 adults with room for many visitors. The accommodation was modern, clean, and "shmick". The kids enjoyed the farm stay and we all enjoyed the big hot tub, on a cold winters night. The local pubs and butcher shops were unique and we could not fault the local food at the nearby pub (Duck & Dog.) Our hosts, Robert and Dawn were ever so obliging. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.
