About the home

A comfortable well appointed Bungalow in a peaceful location, approached by a private road. The property is set in 3 acres of beautiful gardens and grounds, surrounded by picturesque Parkland. Comfort, quality linen and a good standard of house keeping is high on our list for the guests. A selection of good Restaurants can be found 5 minites away in the quaint Historic Market town of Faversham or in the various villages close by. It is with in easy reach of Canterbury and the coast. A perfect base to stay and explore some of the fascinating treasures Kent has to offer, delightful memories and impressions you won't forget!

The TV has a good selection of free view channels.
The bath has a shower over it for the guests who prefer to take a shower.
The bungalow can sleep a total of 5 persons with additional fold away bed in the lounge area for one person.
There is a pub and a restaurant with in easy walking distance of the bungalow.
Parking for your car is immediately outside the bungalow.
There are outside table and chairs with a sun parasol provided.

Faversham is a charming, historic town lying at the head of an acient creek, with cobbled streets and a medieval market square. There are numerous pubs, cafes,restaurants and a diverse range of independent shop's to explore. Market days are still held there every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, Faversham is home to the nations oldest Brewery and it's market was the first to be chartered in Kent, truly a Gem of a place to visit or stay.

The Canterbury / Faversham area

Faversham and the surrounding district offer a wealth of places to visit. Orchards and vineyards, historic homes and gardens are all nearby. For those who prefer to walk there are the marshes teeming with wildfowl and even a lonely beach to be discovered. Inland you'll find woods, villages and country pubs to have a relaxing lunch or evening meal.

The historic Cathedral City of Canterbury and Whitstable (famous for it's Oyster's) are less than 15 minutes drive away. Famous locations such as Leeds Castle, Dover Castle and Chatham Maritime can be reached in under 45 minutes, Faversham is the ideal base to stay and explores all the many treasures that Kent has to offer and more.

“A super comfy rural retreat” Friendly host ,cottage in a lovely setting.Little extras like ,washing up liquid,torch,hand soap,toilet rolls really appreciated.Extra blankets was great as the weather was cold.Near to villages and towns but very quiet and secluded.Lovely.Would definitely stay again.

“Great place to stay, great for the kids A+” We spent a week in "Rose Cottage" and the accomodation was fantastic, well worth the money, spotlessly clean, beds very comfortable. We have 11 & 9 year old girls and they loved having access to the garden and zip- wire. After a long day seeing the sights in the area it was great to be able to unwind knowing the kids could keep themselves entertained out in the garden. We had a lovely time and the hosts were lovely. Would definately go again.
