Modern studio with a small terrace.
Le Mediterranee has been recently renovated to a high standard. It has a brand new comfortable sofa bed plus an extra single fold away bed.
The super kitchen has been well designed and has a modern breakfast bar with 3 chairs.
There is a small outside terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening aperitif!

The town of Cannes, pronounced 'can', is a small city of 68,000. But it's town with many faces. It's located on the Mediterranean coast in the French department of Alpes-Maritimes and in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

It is 905 km away from Paris, 300 km from Barcelona, 164 km from Marseille and 26 km away from Nice.

150 years ago Cannes was nothing more than an insignificant fishing village.
Today, Cannes is one of the best-known cities of the French Riviera. It is famous for its good climate, the luxurious hotels, glamorous villas, cars, beaches, the "port du Cannes" and myriad of visitors. Cannes is very famous and has become well-known among jet-setters, aristocrat and famous celebrities as the city hosts many significant events including the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes Lions, mipim conference, and other attractions surrounding Cannes.

Cannes is great or a weekend break or a summer holiday. By car, Antibes and Juan les Pins are 15 mins away, Nice is 30 mins away, Monte Carlo , Italy and St Tropez 60 mins.

The famous Boulevard de la Croisette is the elegant promenade boulevard bordered by palm trees, elegant shops, and overlooks a fine sandy beach. Le "Suquet" is the Old town with narrow streets, and many very charming restaurants overlooked by the 16th and the 17th Notre Dame de l'Esperance.

La Mediterranee

La Mediterranee is located in "La Basse Californie" close to the beaches of Cannes on Boulevard Alexandre III. The Palais des Festivales is a 15 mins walk /30 mins stroll or a 5 mins drive. Local Bus service directly to town centre. There is a handy local supermarket close by 2 Mins.

The beach is 4 minutes walk away.

In Cannes you can enjoy the wonderful French markets for fresh produce, the famous seafood restaurants, and of course the beach with all its many activities.

If you are feeling adventurous you could catch the train from Cannes station to visit Nice, Monaco and even Italy. Also, in the port of Cannes you can take the ferry to the islands off of Cannes or to St Tropez. There is also a bus station in Cannes where you can travel inland to visit the famous Perfume capital of Grasse and many hilltop villages.

Cannes, famous for the film festival and sunshine, to get a tan in the winter, is a great base from which to explore the Alpes Maritimes region and beyond, also it is an hour from Italy going east, and hour and a half from Provence to the west, without forgetting the ski stations (Isola, Auron, Valberg) in a hour and a half by car or by buses( It cost 1 € one way)
