About the home

Large and spacious apartment directly overlooking the beach and the Mediterranean. Fully refurbished last year and offering generous accommodation for up to 6 people. Three double bedrooms with full sized single beds that can be combined to king size, each bedroom has fitted wardrobes. One bedroom with en suite white marble bathroom and another full bathroom also extra washroom. Fully equipped kitchen with all new equipment (washing machine, dishwasher and fridge-freezer). Expansive living room with dining area. TV supplied with local cable and international TV (includes Sky News among many others). Wireless broadband. Air conditioning.

Living room opens out to sun terrace with space for dining and sunbathing directly overlooking the beach. Beach area offers volley ball and also during the summer season watersports and sailing lessons. There is pool/snooker just a few minutes walk away! Many and various restaurants within a couple of minutes' walk (beach restaurants opposite) offering a variety of cuisine, seasonal shops. 10 minutes to the Croisette and the Festival Hall and the superb shopping of Rue Antibes and of course all the wonderful restaurants and shops of the centre of Cannes and the local markets.

The block is next to a beautifully kept park with boules and a designated children's play area.

The apartment is on the ground floor so suitable for elderly and the terrace is perfect for children.

Linen can be supplied on request at cost to the linen company. Cleaning can be arranged during stay and also change of linen.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

Cannes boasts 350 days of sun - it has an amazingly micro climate and is quite unique, enjoy sunny days at Christmas - not forgetting the fantastic summer which starts in April and continues to October.

The winter months can see you at the local ski resorts (amazingly within 2 hours drive) - a day trip is perfectly possibly.

The Cannes / Central Cannes area

The coast of Cannes has two distinct areas, the calm beaches of the Croisette and Midi Plage and the more lively one of Palm Beach where there is wind surfing and other sea activities (although there is sailing at Midi Plage).

The famous Cannes Film Festival takes place every May but there are many others held during the year and the apartment is perfectly placed for these.

Cannes is a 40 minute direct bus ride from Nice Airport serviced by Easy Jet and British Airways (for UK travellers), Ryan Air from Dublin and also Ryan Air to St Tropez (1.5 hours along the motorway to Cannes). Eurostar to Avignon and train to Cannes.
