About the home

The villa is in a great location for those wanting to explore the many delights of the South of France. It is near beaches for the sun lovers, close to plenty of restaurants for the gourmets, has the fantastic shops in Nice & Cannes within easy reach and has easy access to the A8 motorway for day trips to St Tropez, Monaco, Monte Carlo or even San Remo in Northern Italy.

Also there are lots of interesting historic villages in the area like St Paul de Vence, Mougins, Valbonne and Biot which are full of restaurants for lovely lunches and lots of shops and galleries selling local crafts to wander round.

This villa is perfect for anyone interested in golf. It is a 5 mins walk to the golf course and driving range where you can have lunch on the lovely terrace with stunning views of the course and surrounding hills.

There are many other quality courses in the area including the championship course at Cannes-Mougins and Terre-Blanche.

The living area is open plan with a comfortable seating area with log fire, dining area and piano room each with french doors out to the garden and terrace. The kitchen has hand painted cupboards, wooden worktops and a door out onto the terrace. There is a large american style fridge freezer.

There is a utility room with a washing machine & separate tumble dryer and also a downstairs cloakroom.

There are 2 large bedrooms downstairs one at each end of the house so each has plenty of privacy. They both have french doors onto the garden.

The master bedroom has french style furniture including a kingsize bed and dressing table. It has a large built in wardrobe. It has a contemporary en suite bathroom with sink set in drawer unit, toilet, separate shower cubicle and bath with shower attachment.

The second bedroom has a french style double bed and the room is styled with pretty provencal accessories . The en suite has a large walk in shower with a separate shower attachment, WC and sink.

Upstairs there is another pretty double bedroom with a juliette balcony overlooking the garden & pool. There is a separate bathroom with an overhead shower in the bath. There is a separate WC next to the bathroom.

The mezzanine floor upstairs is a second living area which can also be used as an additional bedroom with a double sofa bed and antique mirrored wardrobe for hanging clothes. This area would share the bathroom & WC above.

There is also a terrace upstairs with table & chairs for breakfast in the sun or an early evening drink to watch the sun go down with a lovely view of the hills.

All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and air conditioning/heaters.

Further details outdoors:
There is a large covered terrace overlooking the pool for al fresco dining with table and chairs for 8 people. There is also a 2 seater sofa and armchair for more relaxed seating.

The pool is alarmed and has steps down to the shallow end and is approximately 2.5m at deepest end. There are 4 teak sunbeds with mattresses and an umbrella for enjoying the sunshine by the pool. There is also a wooden bench with cushions positioned by the pool.

The villa is on a private domaine and the neighbours need to be respected.

There is an English speaking representative available if needed.

This villa is not wheelchair friendly due to steps down to the front door.

A welcome pack can be provided at additional cost if required, please check with the owner.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

The property is located in Mandelieu La Napoule which is the next town along the coast from Cannes going in the direction of St Raphael. It is within easy reach of all the fashionable resorts of the Cote d'Azur.

The Cannes / Mandelieu La Napoule area

There are numerous activities available in the local area so there is something for everyone. There are both private and public beaches so if you want the luxury of sunbeds, waiters serving drinks, lunch etc or a bucket & spade day with your own picnic on the beach you have the choice. There are boats for hire and all the normal watersports available.

The beautiful Lac du Cassien is only 10 mins away where you can enjoy woodland walks, mountain biking, canoeing and all other outdoor sports.

There is golf within walking distance and an abundance of other courses nearby including Cannes-Mougins and the exclusive Terre Blance. Shopping is plentiful and ranges from the designer shops in Cannes to the local village markets.

Nearest airport is Nice which is 30 minutes by car. British Airways and Easyjet all fly directly to Nice or you can go via Paris with Air France. We use an excellent car hire company who meet you on arrival and can supply details.

If you want to bring your car then driving down is an option and can take you through champagne country into the beautiful wine region of Burgundy where you can stock up on route, down through Provence and onto the Cote d'Azur.

“Fantastic Quiet Holiday Villa” Dear Frances Thanks so much for the beautiful Villa Fleurie. We enjoyed our time there again, as we did last year. The villa is peaceful, the pool is a good size, perfect for the kids. The furniture and decorations of the villa are excellent, and there was plenty of space for the 5 of us. We even had friends over for lunch, and there was plenty of space for 10 to sit and eat at the outside table. We look forward to renting the Villa again at some point. Thanks Philip

“Quality Villa, Excellent Location” We stayed at Ville Fleurie during the last week of June. Party included my wife and I, my daughter and husband and baby (15 months). Every aspect of the holiday more than met our expectations. The villa itself is large, very well designed, and extremely well furnished. The 3 large en-suite bedrooms were very comfortable and all had air conditioning. The living area is open plan with a large central area around the fireplace and an adjacent dining area and music room. The separate kitchen is well equipped and there is also a utility room and ample areas for storage. The piece de resistence is the pool and garden. In particular the garden which is beautifully designed and laid out, and very private with an excellent covered terrace and dining area. Quality sunloungers surround the pool which has the sun for most of the day and evening. With a young baby location is important. Whilst a car is needed nevertheless all facilities are within very easy reach including a large Geant supermarket and a variety of local shops at La Napoule. La Napoule and Theoule beaches are both just 10 minutes away. The villa is clearly used frequently by the owner, Frances and this is evident by the quality of the furniture and fittings and the general ambience of the place. There is a lot of attention to detail and a lot of thought has gone into providing for the needs of holiday guests. This is one of the best holidays we have had and we would recommend Villa Fleurie without reservation. Michael Bailey

“Brilliant !” Close to Nice, you find this fantastic and charming villa with all the equipment needed to make your stay very comfortable. The villa is situated in a beautiful and quite area close to lovely places in South France. The garden is beautiful and of course we used the pool daily as a perfect spot to relax in the sun. The perfect spot is sitting in the lounge area outside in the evening and looking at the mountains. Great big bedrooms, lovely bathrooms and a fully furbished kitchen with all you need. Further, if any kids, you can arrange via the internet all necessary stuff for small children such as chair and bed – delivered at the villa. From Lotte & Martin, Denmark

“Excellent villa near to charming town” Lovely, comfortable villa in good location away from the centre of Mandelieu but only a short drive from the charming resort of La Napoule. Well tended and spacious garden, looked after by an extremely friendly gardener who visits weekly. We all had great fun in the pool, made daily use of the table tennis and enjoyed barbecues on the terrace. Excellent kitchen facilities, huge lounge and great bedrooms. The owner was really helpful in sorting out a couple of minor issues (with aircon and a shower). All in all, highly recommended.

A non refundable 20% deposit is required at time of booking. Balance is due for payment 8 weeks before start of holiday.

A refundable security deposit of £500 is also required with final balance payment, this will be refunded maximum of 2 weeks after departure subject to satisfactory inspection of property.

Arrival time is 4pm on 1st day of holiday. Departure time is 10am on date of departure.

Price includes electricity, water, bedlinen, towels and end of stay cleaning. Additional mid stay cleaning or bedlinen change can be arranged, please check price with owner.
