- This apartment is situated a mere 150m (500 feet) from the Palais des Festivals, beach, yacht harbour and the town square with it’s many restaurants & cafes. - The perfect location in the 'Banane’ of Cannes (which is the most exclusive part of the city) makes this apartment perfect for business trips as well as beach holidays. - It’s situated on the 2nd floor of a typical French turn-of-the-century building, only a 100m (300feet) from a supermarket and many speciality grocery stores. The department store ‚Monoprix’, the airport shuttle and the train station are less than 5 Min by foot away. Everything is in walking distance and you won’t be needing a car. - The clever layout of this approx. 60m2 (650 ft2) apartment is designed for up to 5 people. It has 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, a cosy living room, an American pantry with induction-range, oven, dishwasher and a laundromat.The air condition will keep you cool in the Riviera’s summers. The small west balcony seats 2 persons. - The master bedroom has two separate 90x200cm beds that can be hooked together if you wish, plus a small working desk. The second sleeping room on the upper level has two built-in fullsize beds (140x195cm). - There is also a very comfortable daybed sofa in the living room for napping or one person to sleep on. A cot is stored on the premises. - The New Yorker design office „spatial design studio“ has conceptualised the space with a ‚red cube’ that features the 2nd bedroom on an upper level. The furniture is modern and elegant but cheerful.

With the influences of different cultures throughout the centuries, the region has a variety of architectural monuments, museums, churches and cathedrals. There is always something to do and see and places like Nice, Antibes, Monaco, Monte-Carlo, Saint-Tropez and Cannes will not disappoint you.

Cannes is very lively with a large choice of restaurants and cafes. All only a few metres away. There are also the beautiful sandy beaches on La Croisette, plenty of shopping on Rue d'Antibes and the twisting back streets of the romantic old town.
The daily market Forville is within 3 min. walking distance of the apartment with a large choice of many different local foods and flowers.
How to get there
Take a plane to nice (for example swiss or easy jet). The airport bus leaves every 30 minutes and will bring you in 40 minutes nonstop to the centre of cannes. From the bus station it is less than 5 minutes walking to the apartment.

Upon arrival you will be greeted personally by an english and german speaking representative and will be given a tour of the apartment. He will also do the final cleaning at the end of your stay and provide fresh sheets and towels for all guests. For this service you will be asked to pay 150 Euros directly to the representative.
To make the reservation binding you will need to deposit 30% of the total amount. The remaining sum needs to be paid 4 weeks prior to your trip. A security deposit of 500 Euro has to be paid on arrival and will be reimbursed at the end of your stay, providing there is no damage in the apartment or items missing.

Hip Location in the Heart of Cannes (Review by Author "Frankophilia", january 2009)
When I entered the apartment I was quite enthusiastic about the extraordinary room layout and accommodation. In the living room you find an open kitchen - the attraction is a hidden bedroom above with two large beds. This room can be reached by stairs. I used it as a dressing room as we were only two people using the flat. In the corridor you find a bathroom with a shower; there is another bathroom connected with the big bright bedroom. Although the whole flat is arranged in a very modern style, it is very cosy. It has a high value wooden floor and wooden roof-beams which give a warm atmosphere. The colours (the kitchen is red) are tastefully balanced. When you leave the flat you are directly in the centre of Cannes - only a few steps away from Rue d'Antibes and the Croisette, that's fantastic. We also appreciated the I-Pod-Docking-Station and the LCD TV. Altogether I can say that we had a wonderful stay and will probably come back.

We stayed at this small, but very well layoutet apartment in the centre of Cannes for 5 days, and it felt like home instantly. The staircases was (even for an elevator spoilt person like me) easily do-able, since it's very low steps. The gallery-style 2nd bedroom upstairs is really nice and we felt like having our own little secret hide-away up there. The red modern cube in a turn-of-the-century house is a good design idea and we felt like copying it - if we had high ceilings like that. The location is very central, and sunny - although we thought it was quite a lot of noise on the street, but then lived to enjoy it because it was adding to the french flair. We did forget about the little step in the living room every once in a while - but that could also be due to the excellent rose wine of the Provence... We will be back!

Hello everybody, this year was our first time in this appartement but second time we cooperated with the owner. Both times we got a fast reply, fair prices and all the information we needed for the arrival. This appartement is very nice. With great interior, clean and new. Very important to mention the service in Cannes itself.

We were particularly pleased with the location. The apartment is located right in the shopping area (there is a great French bakery downstairs for breakfast) and within walking distance to the beach, the Palais des Festivals, the old town, the long-distance train station and the central bus station. The apartment is very comfortable and cleverly arranged. A built-in cube separates it into two levels, so that there is ample space even with five persons (there were four of us); at the same time, it would not be too spacious for only one or two persons. Nothing is missing from a modern furnishing: The are two high-quality bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, ample cabinet space, modern seating accommodation and (should you find the time in beautiful Cannes) a TV set with what seem to be all channels on this globe. A fixed-line telephone is also provided. I can only recommend this apartment and will surely be back (as will my travelling companions).

Hi to everybody, I have been in this apartment several times and its always a pleasure to be here, since you have got everything you need, also when you are here in a group. In particular the fact, that you have two bathrooms is very convenient. And its right in the heart of the city. If you fall out of the door, you stand right in front of the Palais de Festival. Don't miss the experience of staying at this apartment!
