The famously beautiful Cote d'Azur has 300 days a year of warm sunny weather making it an ideal holiday destination. From this central location of Cannes the whole of this breathtaking coastline is easily accessible. You can take daily visits to St Raphael, St Tropez or to Monaco and beyond to the Italian Riviera. It's also possible to take a trip by train or car to the ski slopes near Grasse, Greolieres-les-Neiges, approx 40mins away.
Cannes / Croix des Gardes area
Cannes is the main attraction on the French Riviera. It is famous for its film festival, glitzy hotels, cafes and wonderful beaches. Cannes offers many varied bars, restaurants and nightclubs where you can enjoy exciting evenings and non-stop fun. However, just five minutes drive away from the entertainment hotspots, you can retreat to your holiday apartment in Cannes Grand Parc for a relaxing, undisturbed night's sleep free from the noisy traffic in Cannes centre, La Croisette and it's beaches. This private, gated residence has fabulous views over the hills of the Esterel and the Alpes Maritimes. Cannes Grand Parc is a peaceful residence. It is situated beside the famous forest park of Croix de Gardes which is accessible through a gate in the residence. This National Park is set in 13 hectares of stone pines, eucalyptus and cypress trees. Cannes Grand Parc has two private pools surrounded by lots of patio space and gardens. The Mimosa shopping centre and a large Casino supermarket are within 500 metres.
How to get there
To get to the apartment from Nice Airport by bus: Take line 200 which costs 1 euro 30 cent and takes approx one hour (check timetable at http://www.rca.tm.fr/). You get off the bus at the stop Gare routiere in Cannes. This is a combined bus and taxi station and is located nearby Hotel de Ville. From there the local bus line 10 (Pins Parasols par Mirandoles) will take you to the apartment (check the timetable at http://www.busazur.com) Travel time is between 5 and 7 minutes and cost of the fare is approx 80 cent. The bus stops directly outside the gated residence of Cannes Grand Parc.
Alternatively, you can take a rented car from the airport and exit the A8 motorway at the sign for Cannes centre/Mougins/Grasse taking the turn right for Cannes and then next immediate turn right before the Renault garage and head for Rochville. Owner will give more detailed directions.

Climate control is an additional feature offered in this apartment ideal for those who get a little too warm in the sun!
Cots and children's high chairs etc can be rented locally.

Perfect base for all activities. At the end of 2 weeks we have usually exhausted all the things we wanted to do but not here ! There was so much ! We could only do a small amount in the time we had. The site is ideal for families. It is very safe and secure and kept very clean. The 2 pools are invaluable with a young child. Very clean and well supervised and open long hours. We used them every day. The pools are a great bargaining tool with kids .. we will go to the gallery then home for a swim later ! There is an excellent Casino Supermarket just down the hill which is very convenient. The bus is frequent and inexpensive and the trains are great along the coast. You can catch it just outside the apartment site. BRILLIANT ! We will return !! Thankyou !! Donna & family from Chesire
