New for 2013 - Villa Lavande has been delightfully furnished with a mixture of traditional Provencale and contemporary furniture. It is situated in the prestigeous Cannes Grand Parc development which is a mixture of villa's and luxury apartments. Cannes Grand Parc has lovely gardens, 2 large swimming pools and a grassed area for picnics and ball games.
The villa has ample parking directly outside, with 2 dedicated parking spaces.
The villa has a bright, open plan lounge and dining area. The lounge comfortably seats 8 people with a mixture of leather sofas and rattan chairs. The dining area has a traditional sideboard and wooden dining table, which seats 8.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. The kitchen also has a breakfasting table for 4 and double doors out to the terrace and garden.
There is a master double bedroom on the ground floor with french doors to a south east facing terrace and covered veranda. This bedroom also has access to a large bathroom with 2 basins and a separate WC.
There are 2 large walk in storage cupboards and access to the garage from the hall. The garage is an ideal breakout space with a table tennis table, dart board and table for card games.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. A large master bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom, a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a twin room. Upstairs also has a separate shower room and WC. All bedrooms are fully air conditioned and have wardrobes with plenty of storage space for all your holiday clothes.
The villa has a garden which is grassed with olive trees, palm trees and a lemon tree.

Nice, around 25 km from the villa and to the east of Cannes is a fashionable and unmissable seaside resort with its wonderful “Promenade des Anglais” - a long boulevard along the seaside dotted with palm trees, its old town with pretty colourful architecture and narrow streets. Take a stroll along the flower market in the “Cours Saleya”, restaurants serving Mediterranean and sea food and bars are abundent there. Nice has mild, temperate winters and hot, sunny summers!!!
Monaco at 40 km from Cannes is one of the most famous and glamorous cities in the world with its casino at Monte Carlo, F1 Grand Prix each May, tennis tournament and of course its incredible nightlife.

Théoule sur Mer nestles in a small cove at the foot of the Estérel mountain with red rocky inlets and beautiful sandy beaches shaded by exotic palm trees and majestic parasol pines.
Grasse. at around 10 km from the villa is a fascinating historic town and is the renowned perfume capital of the world. Explore the delightful narrow streets or go on one of the factory tours offered by some of the most famous perfume houses.
THINGS TO DO:
Golf: There are numerous golf courses in the vicinity, amongst the best is the Country Club de Cannes Mougins. This is an 18 holes Par 72 - 6312m in the heart of a magnificent forest, a technical course full of variety and nicely landscaped with few but strategically placed water hazards.
Boat trips: An unmissable option is the Visiobulle Antibes sailing from Juan les Pins just 7 km away. This boat trip is an hour long excursion in a glass-bottomed boat to discover the Cap d'Antibes with stunning underwater views of the coast and marine life.
Les Iles de Lérins lie a few hundred yards off Cannes, this small but stunning archipelago offers a wild and preserved haven of peace and tranquility with unspoilt rocky coves, white, sandy beaches, azur blue, crystal clear waters and surrounded by fragrant eucalyptus and pine trees.Boats sail every 30 minutes or so from Cannes.
A wondrous selection of sea mammals, fish and sharks are celebrated and presented in stunning delight at Marineland in Antibes, around 10 km away. The various, large aquariums and amphitheatres host the greatest marine show in Europe with dolphins, sea lions, killer whales, seals and a 30m-long under water tunnel surrounded by sharks!.
Ther is also a vast array of fantastic slides and pools, ideal for cooling off afterwards. A funfair csompletes the attractions for those dizzying delights into the evening.

There is a superb covered-market held daily in Cannes, Cannes Fourville, which offers an array of local Provencal produce, flowers, olives, fish, fruit and veg. Local markets are also held in nearby towns and villages, in Mandelieu the market sets up every Wednesday morning.
Sporting activities in the area are abundant– there are aquatic sports like sailing, diving, fishing, water skiing & jet skis.
There is also tennis, horse riding and superb golf courses in Cannes and at nearby Mandelieu and Mougins. Jogging is also popular along the coast between Cannes and Mandelieu or you could go for a long promenade and do some people watching along La Croisette. You are also in very close proximity to the mountains and hills of the Alpes Maritimes region here, which makes hiking and cycling very popular.
Beaches are sandy and can be found just 3km away from the bay of Cannes to the holiday village of Mandelieu La Napoule
The ski stations of Greoliere, Valberg, Isola 2000 and Auron are between 1 and 2 hour's drive away if you fancy a couple of days winter sports!
A car is generally recommended for exploring the neighbouring areas; however it is not required if you intend to spend your stay in Cannes as there is a bus stop just 300 metres from the villa which provides a shuttle every 20 minutes to Cannes centre with its attractions and world famous sandy beaches for only 1 euro one way. A good train service also runs along the coast from Cannes, making it easy to visit neighbouring towns like Antibes, Nice, Cannes, Grasse and St Raphael.
