Surrounded by lively bars and restaurants a car is not necessary as everything is within very easy walking distance but parking is available nearby for a charge if required. From the large, square reception hall elegant glazed double doors lead through to the sitting room which has 2 large, comfortable leather sofas, entertainment centre with wall mounted Samsung flat screen TV, Sony HiFi which is IPod compatible & DVD player. Adjacent comfortable dining area. All windows double-glazed for sound insulation.

The places of interest in Cannes are:
- the old town (Le Suquet), - the old port - rue Meynadier - the Palace of festivals - the Croisette.
LE SUQUET One gets to the top of the city by climbing the Mont Chevalier up to Suquet. The panorama at the top is breath-taking with the whole city below surrounded by the blue sea and the Lérins Islands. Following narrow streets down to the market of ForviIle and through the plane tree lined streets of Liberté, one arrives back at sea level.
THE OLD PORT All along the Quai St Pierre in the old port one can find fishing boats and pleasure boats side by side. The fishermen work on their nets next to their colourful barks. On the pier Albert Edouard the most beautiful yachts in the world come to moor. Looking out to sea one can see the islands of Ste Marguerite and Ste Honourat which are accessible by boat in 20 minutes.
RUE MEYNADIER Full of life from morning to night this street has shops of every sort.
PALAIS DES FESTIVALS This fabulous structure, capable of housing all kinds of assemblies, has propelled Cannes into becoming the second most popular convention town in France. The International Film Festival is held here, as well as, the MIDEM (congress of record producers), concerts of classical music, dance and theater. There are even four casinos.
LA CROISETTE This is one of the most famous promenades in the world. For three kilometers following the curve of the bay one can see flowering gardens, lawns planted with palm trees, umbrella pines and other trees all the way to Port Canto, Palm Beach and a sea water health spa. Strollers can find their way back to the centre by taking the renowned rue d'Antibes.
HISTORIC SITES The churches Notre Dame du Bon Voyage (18thc.), Notre Dame de l'Esperance. The Russian church Alexandre III, the chapels Bellini, Ste Anne, Notre Dame de la Paix, St Georges.

How to get there
Nice is accessible from most UK airports. Express bus from Nice Airport every 30mins in summer and every hour in off season. Cost approx 14.50 Euros p.p. Duration approx 40 mins. Local bus RN 200 also runs from Nice Airport at a cost of 1.30 euro pp but can take over an hour. Notes to the rental rates
The above rates include provision of linen and towels for up to 4 people and final cleaning on departure. For larger groups of 5 or 6 people, an additional charge of £35 per person per week applies.
These rates apply except during festival or congress weeks. Please contact us for those prices.
To secure bookings a 25% deposit is required; the outstanding balance is required 2 months prior to arrival. We require a security deposit of €450 or £400. This is fully refundable after departure if nothing is broken or damaged and the apartment is returned in a clean and tidy condition. Payment can be made by either bank transfer or cheque and can be in Pounds Sterling or Euros.
Daily maid service prices on request. Airport transfers and welcome packs on request.

Guest 1 Date of Stay: May 2008 We stayed at this gem of an apartment for a week end May/June. The whole booking process was very efficient and they followed up straight away with written confirmation and receipts. The agent’s office for picking up the keys was really convenient – just around the corner and it was nice to know they were there in case we needed them. The apartment was everything we wanted as we had both children and an elderly relative, and it was even nearer to the beach than we had hoped. Literally just behind the Croisette. The apartment was spacious, tastefully decorated and comfortable – great beds! and we loved the balcony for early evening drinks. The location meant being able to take our pick of great restaurants all within a stones throw. We had late flights back home and the owner was very flexible with our departure time. We had a great holiday here and hope to return next year. Would definitely recommend this apartment!
Guest 2 Date of Stay: July 2008 We stayed in this lovely apartment for one week and found it to be exactly like the discription given by the owners (which is a rare case). It was ideally located a stones throw away from the Croisette, the beach and all the restaurants and buzzing night-life without even having to spend money on taxi's! This location made our holiday most memorable and we have already booked the apartment for next summer!!
Guest 3 Date of Stay: June 2008 We had a fantastic week here as a small group of 4 friends. Found the place easily (the agent is good and speaks English). A clean, well equipped apartment in the best location in Cannes. Everything you need for a self contained stay is supplied and the place is well maintained. Spacious and light filled. The apartment is only a few steps from everything in Cannes - Rue D'Antibes is a minute's walk away; the beach and Croisette is a minute away, and there are a range of good restaurants and cafes literally around the corner. Importantly though, there is very little noise heard from the apartment so you can have a peaceful night. 15 minute walk to the old town and food area/markets etc and only 10 minutes from the bus and train station so easy to get to other towns/sights in the region. Fabulous and highly recommended.
