This is the place for you.
This large spacious two bedroom apartment accommodates up to 6 people and has been furnished to a high standard. All rooms have reversible air-conditioning (i.e. heating or air-con) and open out onto a large L shaped inner looking terrace, from where you see the beautiful Cannes hills in the distance. The large front room has a 3 seater sofa and 1 double sofabed, together with an Italian handmade, cream leather upholstered dining suite and a collection of other finest Italian furniture. The bathroom has a douchet (i.e. bath or shower facility), the bedrooms are well presented and the kitchen has a small breakfast bar. Enquire nowThe Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region
The Cote d’Azur offers some of the most stunning coastline, fascinating culture, and glamorous locations, which you could possibly imagine. On your descent into Nice airport, the views of the millionaire’s paradise of Cap d’Antibes will take your breath away, with a procession of expensive yachts moored up along the coast. The cosmopolitan city of Nice is just a short bus ride away and just along the picturesque coast is Menton on the Italian border. Both are well worth a visit.
On the hills above Cannes you will find the historic town of Grasse, where it is possible to create your own personalised perfume – what a unique gift this would make for someone you love! And for those of you who enjoy the finest cuisine, there is the town of Mougins, which has some of the best restaurants in the area.
Further South there is the ancient town of Antibes, steeped in local history and the world famous St Tropez. See how many celebrities you can spot, whilst lazing about on the sun-drenched beaches or sampling the culinary delights of the many & varied restaurants and bars along the main promenade.
And if you are still not convinced that the South of France is for you, then how do Monaco and Monte Carlo grab you? Boats run from Cannes regularly along the coast to Monaco, which I would personally recommend. Why not sample one of the exclusive Casino’s or walk the Grand Prix circuit (look out for the cars however!). Away from this opulence there are fabulous shops, excellent bars & restaurants and glorious beaches to entice you away.
So come and join the Cannes jetset and you could ski in the morning (about 1.5 hours drive away), back to Cannes to enjoy a sumptuous lunch at one of the many restaurants overlooking the world famous Boulevard de La Croisette before taking the train down the coast to Italy (approx. 1 hour away), taking in the breath-taking views along the picturesque coastline. Take a dip in the crystal clear Italian waters before taking the train back to Cannes to dine at the renowned La Palme d’Or in the Hotel Martinez. If that is not enough for you, you can then dance the night away at Janes Club or Jimmyz before falling into your bed in your luxury apartment.
The Cannes / Central Cannes area
Located 35km south of Nice International Airport lies the city of Cannes, famed for its beauty, glamour, sophistication and warm climate throughout the year. It is a reputation well deserved and has something to offer everybody.
The main shopping area is the Rue d’Antibes, which is lined with both exclusive and affordable boutiques. Visit the world famous Palais des Festival to see the handprints of many famous film stars followed by a stroll along the promenade to view the millionaire’s yachts.
1km off the coast are two little gems – The Islands of Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honourat. Boat trips runs daily from outside the Palais des Festivals. As well as their natural beauty, both are steeped in local history. Sainte-Marguerite is where the ‘Man in the Iron Mask’ was imprisoned for 11 years and you can tempt your taste buds with the monastery’s handmade honey, liqueurs and wines on the Island of Saint-Honourat.
Unsurprising for an old fishing port, fish restaurants are a speciality in the area but given the cosmopolitan culture, it is possible to indulge in whatever type of cuisine you wish. The range & variety of bars, restaurants & delicatessens are too vast to mention in a few words so you need to go sample them for yourself.
Le Vieux Port & the Le Suquet, which translates to the old port and the hill, is one of the most picturesque parts of the town. The view of Cannes and the surrounding area is well worth the walk through winding cobbled streets. Many fine restaurants can be found along here.
If it is a relaxing beach holiday you are after then you will not be disappointed. Golden sandy beaches and clear blue seas will greet you on arrival. With 300 days of sunshine a year, you can certainly top up that suntan. For those who enjoy an activity holiday there is plenty on offer – cycling, tennis, karting, watersports, golf to name but a few.

| Railway: | Cannes: 1 km |
| Ferry: | Nice: 35 km |
Daily flights from most UK airports, includes low cost airlines (Easyjet, Jet2.com, BMI Baby) & the more expensive variety (BA, Air France). From the airport, your choices are to hire a car (there are many car hire firms to chose from), catch the airport shuttle bus to Cannes (runs every 30 minutes), which costs approx €13 one way and will actually pass by the apartment (if you ask the driver nicely he may stop for you - no guarantee though!). Both of these will take approximately 30 minutes using the Autoroute. Other options are a local bus(number 200), which takes 75 minutes but costs an amazing €1 !, taxi (approx €70), trains from Nice or for the more extravagent - helicopter/limousine/boat transfers can be prearranged..
Once in Cannes centre it is a 15 minute walk to the apartment and for those with a car, there is a secure underground garage. A representative from AES Accommodation will arrange to meet you on arrival to hand over the keys, take the inventory & show you where everything is & how it works.
